Gillette Venus Smooth Womens Razor Blade Refills, 8 Count, Lubracated to Protect the Skin from Irritation, Basic, 8 Count (Pack of 1)

I’ve used Venus razors since their inception and I can’t believe how poor the quality is on these refills. They really do rust (in an area that is just as humid as it has been for every other razor I’ve used!) almost immediately. I’ve never seen anything like it.

Dont shave any hair that might be longer then eyelash, they get stuck in those metal staple things on each side and proceed to be ripped out. Did anyone actually test these?

Very obviously not actual Gillette products. Low quality, cheap packaging. I ended up switching to the Amazon brand instead of rolling the dice on these again.

I’ve been using these razor blades since they first became available on the market and I’ve never been persuaded to switch because these just work. Long after the moisturizing strip has dissolved (I mean months after), they stay sharp enough for daily use in the shower. Since I appreciate simple, practical design in products, I am glad that these razor blades continue to be available. They’ll give you a close shave on your legs, underarms, and bikini area every day and without leaving a rash or nicking you. Plus they’re not as outrageously expensive as some razor blades that make claims but don’t do the job. I recommend them for people who need razor blades that work well and stand up to daily use.

I so happy to try my Gillette Venus! Thanks Gillette for my razor I did get this product for free but these are my true opinions! The first thing I noticed was the close and clean in 1 stroke which we all look for in our razors. {When I used the razor it was defiantly true, It is very smooth.} On the back: 1. 3 blade smoothness 2. A indicator strip- the blue strip fades away when you are no longer getting the optimal shave { This is very appealing to me. I always wonder if my razor is done or if its just me! Since I just got the razor I will have to let you guys know a little later if it works!} 3. Lubrastrip with a touch of Aloe for glide {I love Aloe!} So I am loving this razor so far, then I go to open it... Now it is ALWAYS a pain to get these things open! BUT!! These guys have changed the game, to open it you just squeeze the sides and pull in a few spots it was so easy! No scissors or husbands required. Once I got it open I saw that I also received a replacement cartridge, and that you can use any replacement except the Venues Simple. It was super easy to snap the blade on and it looks exactly as I expected. {they didnt beef if up on the packaging} Performance: The grip stood out while I was wetting the razor, it fit in my hand perfectly as if they measured my hand and built the razor just for me. They were not kidding when they said smooth! The Venus, is incredibly smooth and it shaved with ease! I didnt even use shaving cream. When I got out of the shower my legs were so soft I couldnt believe it. This is the BEST razor I have used in a long time! I normally dont use razors with only 3 blades because the cut is just not as clean. I actually switched to mens razors for a more comfortable shave. After trying this I will be using Gillette Venus, I feel the aloe really helped with the after shave relief. I may try there other refills but the Venus is perfect soo I might just stick with it for a while! :)

I’m Italian and have very course hair. I’m very OCD about any razor stubble on my legs. I’ve tried so many razors, including men’s. The blades (SMOOTH NOT THE EXTRA SMOOTH) work wonderfully. They will last me a little over a week with daily use. I’m so glad I was able to find this 8-pack in the subscribe and save just to keep a few extra pennies in my pocket. I would highly recommend these SMOOTH blades!

These blades are inexpensive which drew me in! They are TINY! They work, but I prefer a larger blade! Will not purchase again!

I bought these through Amazon because its cheaper to buy them than in store. Also, its hard to find something that has just 3 blades - I think the 4-5 blade models are overkill! These give a fairly smooth shave and they are moisturizing - for the first week or two. After that, I dont think they perform as well as cheaper, plainer disposable razor. Im thinking about switching.
