Greater than one weekI bought this because I had its predessor years ago. This case works ok, but does not have the solid feel of the last one, and is more difficult to get locked. It seen the Givi quality has slipped.

> 3 dayThe general finish is still good but the interiors just aren’t what they used to be. No document pocket for instance. Maybe it’s the step up in size but the lid and base seem flimsier than the previous 33 and 37 liter boxes I’ve had in the past. Still, a good quality unit if you have multiple cases for versatility and don’t want to change your mount plate.

Greater than one weekGreat price and good quality. Well package and shipped on time. I was expecting the white top instead of the black carbon fiber look, but I like it fine. This is a great bag for the price. It was $900 less expensive than the BMW top box, so the savings was wonderful and I like the design.

> 3 dayWhy is there such a big gap when I close the lid? Is this normal? I thought it should close flush.. or do I have a defective product and need to exchange it....

> 3 dayNo doubt about it; my research found me the best top box from a great company. They helped me thru a situation with great customer service. Plenty of room, easy to open & close & well balanced. Im a happy camper.

> 3 dayI ended up buying this because I got 5% back and found it a few dollars cheaper than other retailers. I like the case a lot and it looks good, but the price was definitely up there. While I havent had any major problems with the plastic hinges other people have mentioned I will definitely be cautious with it when in use. The case holds a good amount of stuff and is sufficiently sturdy enough for a passenger to lean on.

> 3 dayIt looks good but someone put the key inside and locked it. I am returning it and have asked them to send me another one. Hopefully one with the key accessible.

> 3 dayI really like the look and capacity, but there are a couple of issues. Fist of all, I feel like the brake light kit should be included and installed at the factory. Making it a self installed add on feels like a money grab on an already super expensive top of the line case. Furthermore, the connection system is kind of odd with spring mounted electrical connectors. Im not confident in the brake lights long term viability. Second, mine was missing one of the rubber washers used for mounting the case. Be sure to inventory prior to installation. I was so far along in the installation that I did not care to remove the entire thing and exchange it for a washer, but it did create a tiny bit of looseness going without. Third, the release to open the case is keyed with a separate push button. You should be able to remove the key with the case unlocked and just keep closed with the button latched, but you cannot. You have to lock the case in order to remove the key. If Im with the bike, I dont necessarily want the trunk locked. While there are a couple of issues, the case is very sturdy and has an excellent look. The build quality is rock solid.
