The design is an excellent concept. The pads are harder so they hold up but on the negative side the sticks do not when you apply any amount of pressure they snap wherever your finger is holding it so in the end you cannot add enough pressure to clean what your cleaning before the stick breaks..

Cleans all pieces and picks up both liquid and ash very well and comes in huge sets, only issue is the swap may fall apart or snap on occasion.

For use w/ the Puffco Peak Pro. Perfect in every way, almost no negatives to this product. You do pay a premium for the wooden stems and pointed tip, over say a drug store brand, but worth it imo. Maximum absorption— 1 qtip takes care of any 1x1in. puddle! A stand out feature I noticed was that there is minimal free/loose cotton hairs on these. Overall a slam for your $$

For a while I thought these were over rated, then I gave in and got these because they were so inexpensive, I only need one as compared to two or three regular ones for how I use them.

This product does exactly what it advertises. It cleans with no cotton residue, if you add some water it becomes very absorbent. The wood stem makes it very sturdy compared to most cotton q tips on the market. I would like to add that I had to order this product 3 times, the shipment being lost all 3 times in transit, just for it to show up a month late after it was found. I am glad I received the package, because the product deserves this 4 star review even after all of the trouble I went through to be able to test it out.

Great for globs, but also great for doing detail cleaning on all kinds of other stuff. Mostly lint free.
