> 3 dayWe got two of these scooters for my twins a little over a year ago. We thought they were great until the brake snapped off while my child was careening down a hill! And THEN the brake on the second one snapped off in the same way a week later. Many of the reviewers here have the same complaint. DO NOT BUY THIS UNSAFE SCOOTER! I gave it two stars because for the year they used them, the scooters were fine.

> 3 dayGot this scooter for my child’s 3rd birthday in mid November 2019. Last week The brake snapped off. The minimum age is 36 months, the age of our child using the scooter. We had gotten a Globber scooter for our older child about 2 years prior. It had a problem with the handle bar housing. The design is such that the vertical piece of the handle slides into a housing or fitting (not sure the proper name) and clicks into place with a button that pops through a hole in the housing. Without us knowing, the housing cracked in a way that allowed the button to slide out and the entire piece came off while our oldest was riding. She was not badly hurt but had more scrapes and bruises from that fall than from any other. We contacted globber about this and they wound up sending us an entire base replacement. But the replacement turned out to be for a newer model and did not fit her older model scooter. Again, contacted Globber and asked to review this issue because it was a crack in the housing that was part of the entire base of the scooter. Globber did not reply to my email. So I “fixed” it with some super glue and zip ties. We decided to go ahead and get the second scooter because the first one lasted about 18 months before it cracked. And we felt like this was a sort of freak thing that broke and not normal. By then a few weeks after we bought the 2nd scooter, the brake on the first one snapped off. So our 2 experiences haven’t been great with these scooters.

Greater than one weekUpdated Review: Changing review to from fives stars to one star. After three months of very light use by my two-year-old, a bolt fell out and multiple pieces are on the ground. I cant recommend this product. Potentially unsafe. Original Review: Easy to ride, easy to assemble, and solid construction. My kids are 2 and 3 years old and they went nuts for these scooters. We bought one in red and one in blue. These scooters assemble with one snap and the wheels can be replaced with included allen wrenches if necessary. My kids have never ridden anything but tricycles, but they picked up on these scooters basically in an instant. Even my 2 year-old was pushing himself within 5 minutes or so. Very intuitive. The riding platform is very low to the ground and the wheels are big and forgiving of bumps. These roll great on our hardwood floors and out on the sidewalk. Great little scooters that seem built to last. Very happy.

> 3 day3rd update-Another Update after buying one for my second boy.. Hes younger and more gentle on it and its wonderful! He’s 15m old and he rides it in on his own. I didn’t show him how to use it. I let him explore it for a few days and he figured it out! So much fun letting them learn! I also bought another wheel for the back that lights up. It was easy to replace. - - - - - Second review After 4 months... The brake broke off. Also, half the wheel rubber on 1/2 of the wheel grind it down from breaking. I’m wondering why these wheels aren’t made more able to handle breaking. I’m trying to get a hold of the manufacturer or the seller to help work out replacements. - - - - - Original review... This is so stable! My 2.5 year old loves it! The wheel turning is adjustable and able to shut off if you don’t want it turning side to side also. Really impressed with this product. Not cheap, good quality!

Greater than one weekThis is a pricey but worthwhile scooter. Versatile in its height adjustment and it’s stability enables confidence in most all abled riders (balance issues & fall risk greatly reduced with the 3 wheel model versus 2 wheel). This one comes with the added light up feature on the wheels though the lighting isn’t super bright/flashy and comes and goes at random while in motion. I find this scooter to be a bit on the expensive size but it worth the investment for my 7 year old because it provides that stable 3 wheeled design without juvenile decals associated with younger children (such as paw patrol).
