Gloria Vanderbilt Ladies Amanda Stretch Denim Jean

I have a bunch of these from YEARS ago and like them better without so much stretch, however these are pretty good. I am 511, 218 lbs and got the size 18. They fit nearly perfectly, could use a true 34 inseam, these are just a tad short but will make do....

This fabric is a dust magnet. Not a great trait for black jeans, making them unwearable. Kept it as a pattern/sloper as it fit perfectly.

What happened to Gloria Vanderbilts jeans. I bought black Jean in woman’s 20, They fit upon trying them on so I washed them in hot water and dried them. . I put them on and about two hours into wearing them they stretched so much they were falling off me. I then ordered a regular 20 but they sent a woman’s 18. This time I wore a while them before washing and once again they stretch out terribly but they didn’t fall off me. I washed them in super hot water and dried them on hot thinking they would shrink but they didn’t. I kept them but they are uncomfortable to wear. So bottom line I’m out a great deal of money and still no comfortable black pants. I would not recommend the black. I do have several pairs of blue jeans in woman’s 20 and they fit with minimal stretching out.

I ordered a size 20. They have so much stretch and a nice high waist. But they are too big for me and I am constantly pulling them up. I usually wear a size 20, occasionally an 18. Waist 40”, hips 59”, pear shaped with big thighs. Very generous in the fit. I ordered an 18 so will see how it goes. I’m keeping them for horse riding because they’ll be comfortable.

I love this brand. The GV Amanda style fits me perfectly. Most pants are too big at waist and too tight at hips. These are perfect and the right length too. Long wearing fabric always looks nice

Ordered SHORT, not average. Apparently, SHORT is average now, so now I will have to have them hemmed shorter. Not a happy customer.

Ive had trouble in the past getting tapered jeans to fit my larger calves. These do and are well proportioned throughout. They have a nice amount of stretch and the short size is just right, no alterations to the hem. I am very happy with these and would encourage anyone to give them a try.

Like the jeans. Upon arrival, it was in a clear small bag with a label attached. Bag was ripped and was left out in the dirt and rain when delivered. All this could have been avoided if the Jeans were placed in a shipping box.
