> 3 dayThree very cute patterns to follow as a beginner. Plenty of floss and the kit comes with everything you need. I wish the hoop was wood, but that’s okay since the price is right.

> 3 dayProduct: GLTAYLMY Embroidery Kit for Beginners Adults,3 Set Cross Stitch Kits with 1 Plastic Embroidery Hoops, Needles and Color Threads, Needlepoint Kit for Hand Embroidery Starter It’s been many, many decades since I’ve embroidered. I was in elementary school, and I only did straight stitches I believe. I use crafts as a way to relax, and I decided to give embroidery a try again for a change of pace. This kit has been fun to work with. Well, it has been since I started using a needle threader. Hahaha. The instructions are good enough to get you going, although they are printed small. There’s a ton of short video tutorials online if you need a bit more assistance. There are a couple of things that surprised me with this kit, in a good way. First, the hoop is better than I expected for one that comes with the kit. It holds the cloth taut, and I haven’t had to tighten it up again after working on the project for a few hours. The embroidery cloth is also a lot better quality than I expected. The floss seems to be a mid-range floss. It looks a little “fuzzy” once on the cloth. It is easy to work with, and I’m not having any issues with the floss breaking while using it. The cloth is printed clearly. The design has large areas for the most part, so it does make it an easier pattern for a beginner. There aren’t too many different stitches to need to learn to do these designs, but there are enough to get a good look with different textures, which is what I like about embroidery. I’m definitely still learning and working at getting my stitches looking even. I imagine my first design is going to look a bit of a mess, and it will definitely be a “training” project. That said, I am enjoying working on these.

Greater than one weekI love these kits! They come with all the colors you need and pre-printed designs for you to follow. These are great and even include the hoops to sew in and eventually display the piece. These are fantastic for beginners or those who love to embroider but are not ambitious enough to make their own design.

> 3 dayThis kit comes with three different patterns. They are outlined and come with directions. If this is your first time ever doing embroidery you will need to know how to do basic stitches. My wife had to look up a few different videos on YouTube as she had never done embroidery before. This is a great kit though.

> 3 dayThis is a fun and beautiful project. It comes with three separate kits that come individually packed. It only comes with one hoop though. The instructions are clear and easy to understand in general. I only had to look up a video on how to do the French knot cause it wasn’t super clear by reading the instructions. The pictures also don’t have the perfect same color as the embroidery floss but it’s easy to figure it out. I am still working on my project but I am loving it and I cannot wait for it to be done. The patterns are all super pretty!

> 3 dayMy adult daughter has fallen in love with embroidery. This set has a great BOHO vibe. It has one hoop and everything needed to complete all three pieces shown. The fabric and thread are good quality and the directions are easy to follow. This is a very nice kit for a newbie or for someone who enjoys needlework and enjoys small projects that are easy to complete.

> 3 dayOkay so I am not a beginner beginner but this isnt my go to craft, it isnt even my go to needle craft. I tend to go for cross stitch before embroidery but I have three girls who love butterflies. So far I am almost done with the purple butterfly but not the whale or flowers on that one, just the butterfly. I use Thread Magic conditioner on anything I am sewing to prevent knots and tangles. I read through the descriptions of the stitches as a refresher before I got started. Most of the descriptions are pretty clear but the outline stitch is a little confusing. Honestly it could just be that I was taught to do a back stitch for outlines instead of what was described as an outline stitch. I was also taught how to secure both sides of the threads without knots, so the only knots my grandma found expectable on your embroidery, front or back, was french knots, which I am really good at. There is nothing of this in the hints, I think it would be a fabulous thing to add to their hints. You secure each end of any thread underneath your stitches, so when you are done with a color you use your needle to slide under a number of stitches slide your needle off and then trim the thread close to where it comes out of the stitches. This trick leaves you with a cleaner canvas on the back making it softer if you turn it into a pillow. (Which is my intent with these butterflies and whales, a throw pillow for each of my daughters beds.) So far I have not had any issue with the threads breaking, I have had some shedding but not too bad. I have also only used bamboo hoops before this, I really like the hoop that came with this kit. The needles are longer then I am used to but are easy to thread and are sharp enough for easy sewing. These are very good kits.

> 3 dayThis is a nice set, with a variety of colors of flowers. The cloth is a nice weight and the patterns are clearly marked. The set comes with plastic rings that tighten nicely around the cloth, and the instructions are clear. The only thing that could be better is the thread, but it certainly isnt the cheapest quality I have worked with.
