Arrived in good time, as advertised and a very good price. Comes with the bonus of a cleaning cloth which is very welcome. The filter has been fitted to a lens for a few weeks now and hasnt appeared to have had any negative effects on the pictures I have taken. It was bought to offer some protection to the front element of my lens and so far it has not been called into action to perform this task.

I was recommended to buy a UV filter for my camera to keep dust and scratches off my lens while its in use. Honestly I couldnt tell you if this filter does negate UV, but I can tell you that its very well built, with a real glass optic and a plastic snap ring (which doesnt in any way affect the lens cover) and it fits perfectly onto my Canon EoS 550D. I havent noticed any distortion to images, neither chromatic nor on the whole, and I can sleep easy knowing that Ive got that little extra barrier between myself and my cameras well-being. The packaging is also great, minimalistic but secure, and with the added bonus of getting trees planted!
