Golf Pride MCC Plus4 New Decade MultiCompound Golf Grip

Fantastic grips! Midsize really does help me hold the club more comfortably for more control and distance.

These are by far my favorite grips to date. The non-tapered style takes a bit to get used to for those of you who can feel the difference, but once you get comfortable, the feel is amazing. Golf Pride claims that you need to apply less pressure to achieve control and after my first few rounds, I can honestly say that I feel more relaxed at address. (possibly all in my head but what isnt with this game) As with all my reviews on golf grips and clubs, I recommend getting fitted by a golf pro prior to investing in anything in this game especially grips. That being said, I highly recommend the MCC Plus 4s for the weekend whacker or anyone in need of some solid and reliable grips from one of the oldest names in golf.

I installed this grip on 3 clubs last week and I really liked them so I placed another order for one single grip for my 3 wood along with some other items. This new grip however had a strong chemical smell almost like wasp spray only worse? Nonetheless I installed it and attempted to thoroughly clean it with dawn dishwashing soap thinking the smell will dissipate over time but so far no change. It appears to be a genuine grip with original wrapping so I am wondering what changed between the two orders?

Fitted this grip this morning on a wedge. First impressions are great. It feels great and went on over the tape easily. Excited to get out and try it on the course.
