> 3 dayIm not a professional repair person, but my teenager drops his stuff on a regular basis so I have replaced a few iPhone screens in the past. This was my first iPad screen replacement and it was definitely more challenging. All that broken glass and adhesive was a pain to remove, but everything I needed was in the kit. Very complete. Take it slow. Follow the YouTube video instructions and make sure those attachment points are firmly connected. I had a question about the metallic gold tape that covers the sensor. The video told me to cover the sensor with tape, and this tape appeared to be preinstalled so that I could skip that step, but it had a pull tab that made it look like it should be removed. I was confused so I emailed the seller and he got back to me immediately. (Keep the gold tape in place.) All in all, Im pleased. Feels good to save $ and learn how something is put together by taking it apart. Good luck!

Greater than one weekThe product lives up to expectation; all loss of functionality is my doing. Last week my 2018 iPad did a flat face plant onto a hard floor. 90% of the screen was shattered into little bits. All I wanted was two more years use. Luckily there are plenty of YT videos on how to replace screens of wayward A1893s. There’s also a lot of replacement screens on Amazon. Fakespot gave this one an “A” so I rolled the dice. The glass near and around the home button was badly shattered and in the process of trying to remove it I tore the ribbon. Also I somehow damaged the lcd, maybe via the heat gun, resulting in a half inch of vertical lines up the left edge. I can probably put up with these limitations over the next couple of years. Other: the accompanying tools are almost worthless BUT they did include a small roll of that red double-sided tape and it seems to work fine. No dead spots. In fact I’m tapping out this review on the iPad in question. TL;DR: the product delivered as promised. The only limitations I faced are my own skills (my first attempt) and condition of my iPad.

> 3 dayScreen is not clear and has dead spots. I have to flip it around use certain letters or make selections. It looks like I never removed the protective film (I did - both). Looks like watching 1978 television.

Greater than one weekThe screen does not work in two different areas!! Of course one of these areas lands where the keyboard is, makes typing impossible. Quality is subpar to say the least! Buyer beware, stay far away from this brand!
