> 3 dayThis phone is phenomenal. The camera beats out most all of the competition. I learn some cool new feature almost every day.

> 3 dayI have been a loyal Google customer since the original pixel. When the Android 10 update was pushed to my pixel, It rendered it deaf. It could no longer hear me when I tried to use speech to text for a message. It also killed the Google Assistant. I kept saying Hey Google with zero response. So, when the 3XL went on sale, I bought one. I didnt even set it up until a couple of weeks later when I had chosen a fancy pants case for it. My business relies completely on my phone to get jobs. I need texting, email, and especially the phone, to work. After about 10 days of full use of the 3XL, it became very clear that the phone feature itself was faulty. People kept asking me if I was still on the line because they couldnt hear me. Also, many people thought that the call just kept dropping out and it sounded very tinny when I was speaking. I had to send the phone back. I was losing work. I planned on buying the 4 or the 4XL as soon as they came out, but after reading the reviews on battery life, those phones are non-starters for me. Im using a cheap revvl phone from T-Mobile while I figure out what Im going to do. I cannot even fully State how monumentally disappointed I am with Google. My pixel died because of their update. The 3XL was a bust.

> 3 day04272021....dead after 1 year and 9 months. Coming from S7 Edge I guess I expected a more crisp experience. Been using this phone for a couple months. I find it very hard to type...seems like input never quite adjusts to my style. Phone must be restarted frequently as Google Assistant mic just stops responding intermittently. The camera is nice. I like that I dont have to root the phone to get rid of bloatware.

> 3 dayLove this phone. And for $600? What a steal compared to the iPhone XS Max I used previously. Only complaint compared to the iPhone is the battery life, but it gets through a day. Also I am probably playing with the phone a lot more since I am setting it up and testing it out, so I will update the review later with regard to the battery. Its super quick, love the lack of any carrier branding and bloatware. Camera is phenomenal. Reception is great.

> 3 dayIts unlocked so you can use any US carrier SIM. Camera is great indoors and evening low light condition, intelligent and not saturate f by default like my old Note, just doesnt have telephoto. It has hardware level security and super fast everything...charging (USB C), power on and off, procrssing. Easy access to quick options with swipe down including brightness and battery saver mode. I used to have iPhone and even latest ones you have to go into the phone Settings to adjust brightness. Google Assistant can also adjust brightness when going from indoor to outdoor this helps including when dtiving for hands free control.

> 3 dayI purchased a referb that was listed as good condition. I expected some minor scratches but this one is pretty heavily scratched which is a huge disappointment. It works fine though.

> 3 dayI once bought my next door neighbors car. They were heavy smokers and sold it to me because something was wrong with the glass in the back. They couldnt see through it. Turns out that years of cigarette smoke builds up - I had a hell of a time cleaning those windows! The screen of this phone reminds me so much of that car. I can see images. But everything has a hazy, yellow, dingy tint to it, like it desperately needs a good scrubbing. This is only the second smartphone Ive ever owned, so I figured I had turned something on. Or failed to turn something off. Maybe the night light. I even did a factory reset. Twice. Nothing helped. Finally I called Amazon. I explained what was happening, that the phone was obviously broken, and I needed a replacement as quickly as it could be shipped, considering Im leaving to attend a funeral in a few days. To their credit they not only leapt into action, the phone arrived two days before schedule! Way to go, Amazon team! Im sincerely grateful for your effort! Unfortunately... the replacement phone is worse than the original. The poor beast has jaundice. FWIW, users can go into settings for the display. There are three options to choose from - natural, boosted and adaptive. Adaptive makes everything ever so slightly more pink. Nothing youd really notice, but the sample photo they provide has a pink flower in it. It becomes a tiny bit larger - like a few more pixels - when Adaptive is selected. Natural and boosted remove that pink tint, but otherwise theres no difference between them. And none of them make a dent in the cigarette smoke colored screen. Turning on nightlight is really impressive. Everything kind of goes into a cinnamon colored sepia tone. Im not the only person this has happened to. There are lots of side-by-side photos showing a normal phone vs the Pixel 3 xl. And before you say Youre just used to a screen with more blue in it... no. Seriously. I know some screens are more blue or less blue. THIS screen is dingy, muted... right out of the box it looks like it was used hard by a Kirkland brand Meeseeks. (Thats for all you Rick and Morty fans out there). Oh, FWIW, the rest of the functions seem pretty run of the mill. It has good storage but Im disappointed the battery drains so quickly. It would be an adequate phone for the price if it werent for the murky display. As it is, using a phone with no camera is better than pictures of a green sky. This thing is going back.
