This product works well! Shortly after applying, I set my Steam deck on a side table to charge and the dog knocked it down getting to the window. In a panic, she tried to leave the way she went in and then stepped right on the glass. No damage! Plus if the protector does get borked up, Ive got a backup in this product.

This is a decent protective screensaver for the Steam Deck, and while it does keep the screen from getting scratched, I felt like it did not provide as much glare-free protection as I wanted. I decided to remove it. If youre wanting it solely for protective purposes and dont mind a little glare, this is a good product. However, for me, Id rather treat the system more delicately than deal with the glare on the screen.

Overall prep and install or glass film screen was pretty easy. Directions weren’t amazing and no “install template” / frame but the steam deck screen is flat so pretty easy. Looks invisible after installing and no interference with touch capability. Would recommend again.
