Ive been working on my beard for a little over a year. This was my first foray into the world of beard balms, butters, oils, etc. I got this around Christmas time. Too me the scent is beautiful and will always remind me of the magic of Christmas. My olfactory sense is very important to me, just as important as the conditioning, and holding ability of the balm itself. This ticks all the boxes. I have Grave Before Shave butters too. I like all their products. If you like rich balms with good holding power that will excite your olfactory sense, I recommend Cigar/Vanilla beard balm.

It smells great and holds up well throughout the day. As far as the sent goes, I would say that I pick up more vanilla notes than cigar. However, it is not over powering or sweet smelling. This is the only brand of beard grooming products my husband will use. The company produces consistent, reliable, high quality products.

I have been a user of the beard oil, before I made the jump to the Bay Rum scented balm. The balm, for my man curtain, made a great difference in the feel and softness of my beard. I bought the sampler pack of oil and tried out the Cigar Blend balm to change things up. My wife loves the scent. After all, she wont keep her hands off of me and my pirate partition of a beard. These glorious people at Fisticuffs need to include a bottle of sports drink or scotch with every order to replenish my electrolytes. All the nookie she has been giving me, is quite frankly, leaving me parched. Buyer beware, you will lose sleep, forgot your hobbies, and fall behind on the latest season Vikings on the History Channel if you use this around the ladies. Your girl will become insatiable. I want to use this balm on another raw area of my body, but I am afraid...

This stuff smells wonderful! I usually use another brand, but was looking for a nice cigar smell, with a touch of vanilla. Boy was surprised when I got this stuff. It smells wonderful, is very oily, and goes on nice ‘n’ thick. My only complaint is that it was a little softer, but once you get it between both palms, it works just fine. I would definitely recommend this to a friend.
