Gravity Falls: The Complete Series - Collectors Edition [DVD]

Love this series to bits! And the surprise end of summer note in the box was perfect. :) 1000/10 will watch again and again.

I absolutely love this show, but I have to dock points cause one case was broken and it didnt even come with the letter that was supposed to be for the fans that would purchase this boxset. $70 for boxset of the show with nothing else of collectors value is pretty steep.

1) it is rare that Disney puts an entire series out on disc so this is a gem. 2) the series is one of the best ever along with Phineas and Ferb (which at best has come out on various dvds with 5-6 episodes, but not in order) as far as a series that is aimed at kids and adults. 3) biggest shame was that the series ended so quickly. I hope the box set is put together nicely with bonus features

The box didnt come damaged or anything and I love the to:Dipper note too! Me and my dog enjoyed going on a trip to gravity falls as well.

Im new to this series outside of watching a couple episodes on iTunes. It surprised me how well written it is throughout the whole 2 seasons. Characters grow and develop and story arcs build into a satisfying finale. This show had a clear goal of what it was doing and where it was going. The third disk of bonus content speaks to this in volumes. The level of love and craftsmanship is something rarely seen for television animation. Part Twin Peaks, part Simpsons, with fun characters, a gorgeous world and mysteries abound, Id thoroughly recommend Gravity Falls to anyone looking for something new to accompany their Saturday morning cereal!

This is the second set of Gravity Falls Ive bought from Amazon, one for each of my children to own. Absolutely love having the whole set. We frequently have Gravity Falls marathons at our home. Great addition to our movie collection.
