They definitely make it easier to take a bunch of bags in and out but the hooks get stuck on plastic handles and tangled.

Love these! Bought a couple sets as Christmas gifts. One of mine had the spring stop working so I have to manually close it. But it still performs its purpose.

Bags slide a bit but far better than having plastic bags wrapped around your slightly purple fingers. A must for people who dont want to make multiple trips when unloading the trunk. Tip: carry the bread bag with your teeth that way you dont crush it when you carry all your grocery bags at once. Or just make two trips.

I got these for my daughter so she can carry many bags of groceries up 3 flights of stairs to her apartment. She raves about them. The bags are much easier to manage when they are not cutting off the circulation to your fingers. The cushion is very nice. Many bags will fit on just one.
