Greater than one weekThere are cheaper step stools on Amazon but this one is necessary if you have a smaller kid (like 2/2.5) who is potty training. The foot rest step allows them to plant their feet to go #2. It’s hard to poop with your legs dangling!

> 3 dayThis potty ladder has been a lifesaver!! I got it in a final desperate attempt to make the potty feel “secure and comfortable “ to sit on. Shortly after we got the seat, my son had his “a ha” moment, and he potty trained. The easy fold up of the seat has also been a life saver. I have brought it to so many family gatherings, friends houses, etc.. it seems like so much to spend when you feel like you’ve spent so much on other things, but it is so worth it!

> 3 dayI was nervous about upgrading to a new potty, but this was a great move! This was easy to put together, all tools provided. It’s sturdy, and my daughter loves to use it. It is easily removed and folds nicely next to the toilet when not in use. We were so satisfied that we bought a second one!

> 3 dayWe are on day 1 of the potty learning journey with our autistic 4-year old, and the Growth Pic toddler toilet seat got our kid to sit on the toilet…over a dozen times. We had purchased another style of seat that just sits over the toilet seat cover, along with a step stool, and that combination did not feel secure to us or our kiddo and he balked at not being able to maneuver on and off the toilet on his own. (Our kid has vestibular and proprioceptive challenges, which translates to having a tough time understanding where his body is in space). The Growth Pic step ladder and clever monkey shaped handles are first and foremost sturdy. Once on the toilet, the seat remains on and is durable to hold nearly 40-pounds of kid wiggling. Secondly, the seat gives our kid the ability to climb on and off the toilet on his own, which helps boost his confidence. We’ve been pleased with the easy assembly and set up, including the splash guard for boys (helping our kid learn to point down too). The fruit imprints on the white part of the step kept our kid occupied enough while sitting and waiting, which is helpful in a small sized bathroom, as you don’t have to have another item to have on hand to try and throw at your kid to keep them still until they empty their bladder fully. The only minor down sides: the seat worked better for us with our toilet seat up and wasn’t sturdy at all over the toilet seat itself. But as another reviewer mentioned, the silver lining is an über clean toilet! The other downside is us having to get our kid to understand that all toilets will not be so accommodating once we start branching out. But hopefully, his confidence will continue to grow as he gets more used to using the potty. Thank you Growth Pic for allowing parents one less stress in the potty learning journey.

> 3 dayPricier than some which is why we bought two other styles before this. But better than all we tried. Very sturdy; 2 year old can climb alone and wriggle and shake without falling over. Toddler apparently appreciates the seat as she talks about the cushy seat on the regular. She also gives 5 stars.

Greater than one weekSingle Mom here... took me 10 min to put together, easy instructions with a helpful turning monkey tool. Once your child steps on the first step, it becomes sturdy and dependable. I like how the monkey handles are high/big loops and makes my son feel inside between rails and confident to climb the ladder, not feeling like theyre going to fall over/off. Love the urine protector cup to reduce messes! Made me want to purchase my own cushion toilet seat. The entire apparatus is lovely. My 20 month old loves it. Easy to clean, easy to store. Worth the extra $15-20 more than all the others.

Greater than one weekI was hesitated when I saw some review says it did not fit the height of the toilet seat. I am glad I tried it out. Super easy to assemble. Took me less than 5 mins. Every tool is included. The material feels smooth and expensive. My little one loved it right away.

> 3 dayThe product is great. The seat is really sturdy for my two year old and comfortable. He had spaghetti on his hand and stained cushion. The stain stayed on the seat. Besides that it’s great.
