Groz 41966 15 Quart Drain Pan with Screw Cap, No Leaks/Industrial Capacity

Pan performs well, is easy to pour out into other containers for recycling purposes. Surprising was just how quickly waves get going in the pan and splash out over rim - either molding in some ridges in the bottom to inhibit motion or bringing the edges in a bit more to catch the wave would be appreciated - as it stands not I just remember to move the pan very slowly .

Injection molded plastic, polyethylene. The molding process used has included impurities in the plastic flow, both point contamination many places and larger discoloration streaks. Some of the point impurities are almost large enough to cause a perforation, which of course means a leak. A leak in an oil drain pan is the last thing you want. Also, the bottom is very thin and I am concerned about the durability and strength, particularly with hot oil. I dont see any actual holes in this unit, or I would return it immediately. I dont see this as being a long term durable item. Not worth the money in my opinion.

Quick and easy to use

I don’t write a ton of reviews BUT I had to for this drain pan. Seems very sturdy and easy to handle. It’s a lot larger than I needed but it’ll get used. I also like the drain cap on the spout. Very nice drain pan.

It was oil change time, rear diff oil change time as well as coolant drain and fill time. I wont ever use a different type of drain pan again, I should have bought these a long time ago! They are plenty wide enough to catch the splashes but not too tall and fit perfectly under the gladiator shelving we have in the garage. Pouring out is also very easy to do through the spout. Few paper towels to wipe it out and back under the shelving it went. PERFECT

Dont know why it a month to arrive, but happy with purchase.
