Got my product quick in the mail and was easy to load into my laptop and has worked fine for the past days. However this morning my computer started crashing and narrowed down issue to a faulty ram stick. The 2nd stick is still functioning after i pulled it as of this review. I have a replacement coming in later today so I will update this review later.

I bought the ram to upgrade muy Asus GL702VM. Althought the I7 6700hq is stated to work with ram up to 2133mhz, its working flawlessly with the 2400mhz version. If you want an upgrade, this is the way to go.

I got my G.SKILL 32 GB (2 x 16 GB) Ripjaws series, to my laptop Dell XPS 15 (9560) , and it’s give my computer excellent performance after upgrading the RAM, it’s compatible 100% with my laptop, I recommend this memory to any one has the same laptop Dell XPS, I tried different brand but was not compatible and I got BSOD on Windows 10 , but with G.SKILL 32 GB (2 x 16 GB) Ripjaws series no issues reported. The computer working fine and faster than before, now I can run many VMs to practice my IT studying in faster computer, any one need to upgrade his computer to get faster performance for gaming or doing IT labs with VMs which required more memory, I advise him to get G.SKILL 32 GB (2 x 16 GB) Ripjaws series.

Memory modules were easy to install, well built, and worked as expected. Have used G.Skill RipJaws model in multiple laptops and desktops I have built. Never had an issue with them and they all worked at the stated speeds. Bought these because they are dependable and priced fairly. Plan to use this brand/model in future builds and upgrades. This may go without saying but there is no RGB on these modules.

I ordered December 2019, I got the 2x16GB but as of July 2020, one of the stick stopped working. I already isolated the issue by putting the defective stick on all slots of my laptop and also on another laptop but still doesnt work. The other 16GB stick still works though.

Much needed upgrade
