Lets be honest, youre buying for the bling. Performance is great too though. Had to manually set frequency in uefi as it did not immediately recognize as 3200 mhz, however I hear this is common depending on mobo and especially Ryzen systems, which mine is. That may or may not be accurate, but the fact remains and Id suggest checking frequency manually via uefi just to ensure youre getting your moneys worth.

I’m not sure if the seller is aware of this but these ram stick do not perform to spec. I’m not accusing them of purposely selling bad ram but the RAM given to me massively underperforms. The regular motherboard X.M.P profile (No manual OC) causes me to crash in games after a hours of playings. I tried to OC and I get instant crashes for anything over X.M.P. frequencies. I’m not much of a prolific gamer as I used to be; this being the reason why it took me some time to correlate the RAM issues to the game crashing. This is just a fair warning. I’m sure that Z royal RAM are awesome sticks; I am just suspicious of these sellers. Anyway if you do choose to purchase just test on memtest86 extensively. Sadly you can’t trust enthusiast products from third party sellers, especially at this price. I lost my chance at a return, don’t lose yours…

Quite pricey compared to other modules of the same frequency, speed, size, and RGB. Needless to say, the Trident Z Royal are arguably the best looking memory modules to date. It has a nice rainbow RGB effect by default. Color and lighting effects can be customized using G.Skills own RGB utility program or can be controlled using certain software for supported motherboards. Do note that G.Skills RGB utility program have nice lighting effects however, it is quite limited in options.

To start off, it looks stunning, love the chrome finish fast and its RAM, its really easy to install. Im going to be getting another 16GB so I can get 32GB.

The RGB is Amazing and the product works as intended.
