HABA My Very First Games - First Orchard Cooperative Board Game for 2 Year Olds (Made in Germany)

The fruit, bird, and die are crafted out of wood and really high quality. Im very satisfied with their paint and appearance. The die is big enough for a toddler to grab and it rolls really well with the rounded corners, avoiding any chance of poking somebody in the eye. Later, when the kid is too old for the game anymore, the pieces can be repurposed for other activities or games. This set will live on even after its primary use as a game has worn out. Or, its great enough to pass on to the grand kids once your little one has kids of her own. That cant be said for many toddler games since they take such a beating.

This is a really easy game to learn to play. A 2-3 year would be able to pick up the rules with the help of an adult. If you want to introduce your pre-schooler or even toddler to board games, this is a great first game. It teaches them to take turns and with the cooperative approach, theres no tears over winners and losers. We love playing this as a family. Even my older child enjoys playing it.

Daughter quickly grew out of this game but she loved it for a bit there. So colorful and well made!

Love it for 1 and 4 year old! Pieces are large enough to prevent choking hazard. It is fun for all of us! Love that it is a cooperative game!

Purchased this game to have a family game night with my two year and two months old daughter and husband and this was a fun game for all! My daughter absolutely loved playing so much that she kept asking to play one more time and I think we played five times in a row! Pieces are large and easy for her to handle and she can now set up the game herself. Great first game for learning how to take turns, rolling the die, etc! It was a really nice activity to play to wind down for bedtime and I would definitely purchase as a gift for someone else. Very satisfied with this purchase and will look at purchasing other HABA First Games in the future!

Gave to our just turned 2 year old granddaughter for Christmas. I think she will enjoy it and look forward to playing it with her.

Received as a gift before he was old enough for it, so tucked it away. Perfect to play and learn how games work when he was 2 and a half, a year later we still pull it out for a quick round (we always play a second round!) and bridge to other cooperative games.
