> 3 dayThis ball is great and my 4 month old really enjoys the different colors, textures and sounds. Its a good size for him (measures 5 1/4 inches or so in diameter) and he can easily grip it. We grownups like playing with it too! I hand washed it in cold water and dried it on the lowest temperature in my dryer and the colors and stitching held up fine.

Greater than one weekThis is a lovely toy. It’s very well made and has so many colors. It holds my baby’s interest. I like how it’s shaped with all the smaller sections which gives the ability to grab it and it isn’t too loud. The quality is excellent.

> 3 dayYou just cant go wrong with Haba! This can be used starting at an early age and still work for an older child.

> 3 dayPros: The colors/patterns are very nice and vibrant, even after numerous washes. The different pieces of the ball are very well stitched and sturdy. The rattle, squeaky toy and crinkle paper are nice touches. FYI, the rattle and squeaky toy are hidden within the different fabrics. The HABA tag (which is the manufacturer) can be used to hang this ball on a car seat or stroller with a pacifier/toy strap. Cons: The ball has product tags stitched into the it, takes away from the aesthetic of the ball. 5 of the 8 sensory effect strip fabrics have started pilling. Meaning, little lint balls on the surface. The are ways to get rid of this, but its an additional thing to deal with. Also, there are a total of 6 different sensory effect strips from what I can tell, there are two sets of the same crinkle paper and two sets of another fabric which is the same. The patterns/colors are all different though. I think its pricey, but thats subjective to the buyer. There doesnt seem to be another sensory ball on Amazon, so I guess if you want one, this is the go to for your child. Overall: Im not disappointed in the product, my child has just started to grasp objects, so she hasnt really been able to play with this. In the end, that is the ultimate factor in whether it was a good purchase or not. The review is more to highlight different aspects of the product itself. Suggestions: Add a regular fabric tag (outside of the HABA tag) so that the ball can be hung on car seats/strollers with a strap. Im not sure how durable the HABA tag is, but an additional one would be beneficial for those who want to use the ball as a hanging toy for their child. Add more surprise elements within the other 5 fabrics. A squishy element within one the fabrics, a bean bag style effect in another fabrics, etc. It just adds to the sensory element of the ball, not just the fabric texture, but what is felt within the fabrics can be sensed as well.

17-11-2024Love this toy!! Its a great design for little hands to be able to grab, and all the different leaves of the ball are a different sensory activity. Our 4mo daughter loves this, and plays with it quite a bit. My only qualm is that despite the name saying machine washable, the directions explicitly state to only hand wash or spot treat as needed. I threw it in my washing machine anyways and it held up fine, but Im no longer confident that it cant withstand repeated wash cycles. I guess well see which kills it first - my teething baby or the washing machine!
