If you need to change the configuration of a Fluval 206 and cut the original hoses too short, this is what you need. The advantage over hardware store vinyl tubing is that this doesnt kink when it needs to bend.

Got this way sooner than expected, fits perfectly. I couldnt be happier

I have to say that I have used a few different canister filters and the Fluvals tubing always bothered me, while other companies use basic clear plastic tubing, fluval decides to use ribbed tubing that is very difficult to fit with attachments unless you buy THEIR rubber couplings sold separately. I have used Aquatop filters easily with PVC pipes and fittings you can get at any home depot for pennies. Fluval stuff you need to buy online for $5-$10 each. You be the judge.

This tubing was hard to find at brick and mortar pet shops. Allowed me to modify my current filter effortlessly.
