It is a hay mat and of course it wont last long if you have animals that use it. But thats what they are meant for. I use them to cover up wooden boards to keep them from being peed on too much. My gerbils really like them.

I lined my bunny rabbits cage with this ( they run in and out freely) and they really like to sit on it and don’t use it as a bathroom. That makes me happy! More like a soft hang out spot. So I feel like I improved their little bunny environment. And they haven’t torn it up.

My rabbit loves these. Destroys them. She peed on one first thing so just in case put a pee pad down or use it as a cage liner. Way better deal than Small Pet Select. Some reviews say it smelled moldy. I didn’t have that problem at all
