> 3 dayI love love love this fan. How have I lived without it for 40 years!? I highly recommend. I sweat really easy and it is embarrassing. I even have a desk job and I sweat. I keep this on my desk and can angle it to hit me square in the face. Its super quiet and the battery lasts quite awhile.

Greater than one weekI bought 4 of these and took them on a trip to Italy and used them just a few times there. Fast forward more than a year, I had one of these plugged in at home recharging (since it had been so long since we had used them) when after an hour or so of recharging, I smelled like something was burning. I then noticed that the smell was coming from one of these little fans. I went to pick it up to unplug it and it was burning hot around the battery which had even melted some of the plastic. I immediately unplugged it. Needless to say, it would not run again. Fast forward about 6 months, I found another one of these fans laying around in a drawer (we had bought 4) and went to recharge it so I could use it. Long story short, the same thing happened to this other fan. Luckily, my wife was in the bedroom and immediately unplugged it. It was also burning hot and it would not run again. Obviously, I am not taking a chance with the other two fans as I dont want to risk starting a fire and burning my house down over a $20 fan. VERY DISAPPOINTED. On a separate note, we had previously purchased a couple of other fans (cheaper version) from the same seller and they are still running strong after 4 years; no issues at all, but these newer and more expensive ones have been a HUGE disappointment.
