> 24 hourMy home has 2 bathrooms each is using 4 of these bulbs. Ive been using them now for a couple weeks without any issues. There is no hum or flickering with these bulbs. They turn on instantly once I flick the light switch. They replaced a set of fluorescent bulbs in one bathroom and a few damaged LED bulbs in the other. They are very bright and illuminate the entire bathroom.

> 24 hourThese bulbs are perfect in my bathroom. No shadows, no yellow cast. I love the daylight look that can be nice and bright without hurting my eyes. Easy to see exactly what I’m doing while putting on makeup. And they look nice too. Definitely recommend.

> 24 hourThis is a great replacement bulb for the vanity light. We had changed from the regular incandescent light which makes it very hot in the summer to fluorescent bulb which improved but still get quite warm in the summer. Winter is good. These bulbs reduces the heat significantly by using less power and actually to be brighter. Possibly due to the florescent bulb getting old and is dimming. Good buy.

> 24 hourHonestly, bulbs are all basically the same to me: do they work as advertised or not? These do. They are very bright compared to my normal 40W bulbs (so something to beware of if your other bulbs are 40W). Also of note is that these are daylight style, meaning that they are a brighter (or truer) color of bulb than your soft white style bulbs. The benefit of daylight style is that it shows things in their true color instead of being bathed in the yellowish color of older bulbs. It is like having a mini sun in your bathroom/kitchen (or wherever you use globe-style bulbs). The benefit of LED bulbs is their savings in the long run. I have actually done some calculations and it is actually cheaper (in my area at least near Detroit) to throw out my old normal bulbs (that I did purchase at full price) and purchase LED bulbs (at full price) and then use the LED version due to the savings in the energy bill!

> 24 hourAs evidenced in my photos, these bulbs will not make awful wallpaper look less awful. They WILL help a great deal when it comes time to tear it out! I really needed to replace the incandescent bulbs that came in our bathroom. I prefer more of a daylight look in lighting, which is closer to a bluish white than yellowish. Most would consider 6500k fully daylight, but at 5000k these are closer to daylight than the yellowish warm white. Going above 5000 tends to be considered harsh, so this is a nice comfortable tone without the yellowish cast of the lower kelvin numbers. All bulbs were tested and worked right out of the box. They appear well made. Previously, we had to unscrew some bulbs because they were too bright (and mismatched, at that). These are plenty bright for makeup and hair, but not so bright it feels like an assault when you flip on the switch. I was wondering about the size. They appeared larger than a standard bulb but I couldnt tell for sure. They are a good bit larger than the standard bulb, as one would expect for a vanity bulb, so I included some comparison photos. You might have a problem if you expect to use these in a fixture with a small enclosure. The connection is a standard e26 but the globe bit of the bulb is larger than standard size. Ive had them a couple weeks in our single bathroom, which has had regular use. My fixture takes six bulbs but there are eight in the box - extras are always nice. I will update if we have any problems worth mentioning, but these have so far worked as expected. I would recommend.

> 24 hourI got these to replace some aging CFL globe light bulbs in a four-bulb bathroom fixture. I wanted LED, warm white, 60W incandescent equivalent brightness, rated for use in a bathroom, and I wanted some spares. These checked all of the boxes. I was immediately impressed when they arrived. I have received Valentines Day chocolates that were less attractively boxed than these light bulbs! The bulbs were inside of a reclosable, color-printed box with a formed inner plastic tray at the bottom in which each lightbulb rests, egg carton style. The packaging left a very good first impression, and a far cry from the white-box Chinese product packaging associated with products cost-engineered to the the breaking point -- and sometimes beyond. All four of the light bulbs I installed worked fine. The brightness and color temperature seem the same across all of them. These supposedly have a 30,000 hour lifespan. Since I have lights on in that bathroom probably an average of 30 minutes per day, they should last about 164 years, after which I can replace them with the four spares. I promise to update this review in 164 years to let everyone know if the lightbulbs are all still working.
