I bought this for my daughters 4th birthday. She loves to steal my coffee every morning when Im not looking. She set all of her presents aside and has played with this ever since. Her 7 and 6 year old sisters also love it. The quality is so great. I love Hape toys. The colors are modern and sleek, which is refreshing when your home feels overtaken by bright kid colors at every turn. I love the imaginative play that this encourages. Children get to pick which brew of coffee, and if they want to add cream and/or sugar. Seeing them carefully chose different creations has been so fun. They love turning the knob on the side and pressing the start button. Im noticing that the felt pods seem to be wearing out quickly, so maybe a smaller wooden disc would have worked better. I am so happy that we purchased this product!

Followed suggestion by mommy. It looks like the one daddy uses to make the grown ups morning coffee. Good for child 2 + , ready for imaginary play. She walked around serving us from the mugs with spoons. As seniors we are amazed this line of toys. Looks like it will last longer than the old plastic sets.

This is the cutest, most realistic and sturdy coffee maker for kids. My Grand-Daughter loves it. It looks just like a real coffee maker. Everything is made out of wood and it is beautiful. I would recommend this for sure. You wont be disappointed.

I recently purchased this product for use in my pre-kindergarten classroom with students who are ages four and five. I am using the pretend coffee maker as a prop in our dramatic play area. The product design is simple, yet visually appealing, and all of my students were instantly attracted to using it. The design is also similar to coffee machines they see their parents using at home, so it created a home school connection and they knew immediately how to use it. It appears to be very sturdy and durable, and I imagine it will endure several years of constant use in my classroom.
