I ordered the JBL for my husband & wouldnt give it to him without the silicon sleeve & hard shell case. This is perfect! He takes it out on the kayak, takes it to work, & it holds up really well!

The silicone cover looks great on the speaker, and the hard exterior case is sturdy. However, the speaker doesnt balance within the silicone cover. Too bad...it cant balance upright, so I will have to return it.

I bought this originally just for the silicone cover. Having the carrying case is a bonus! It is so cute and fits on the speaker perfectly without covering up the buttons or charge port. With the cover on the speaker even stands up! I love it! The carrying case has mesh pockets for the charger cord and the speaker fits inside nice and snug! Its a must have!
