This case is compact and has just enough space for the San Disk 1 TB drive and cord I bought it for. It is a hard case and appears to provide adequate protection.

If yoyve bought the SSD drive, get this case! Youd be crazy not to buy it. Its perfect and has a place for the small cable & adapter that came with your SSD drive. It will help prevent you from losing it and gives the SSD drive the extra protection it deserves.

I bought one over a year ago and liked it so well I got one for my wife too. We both travel daily with ours and they are still doing great. This is a great option if you need to access anything without being WiFi and internet dependent. The ONLY slight issue we’ve had is with the cable being stored in a bent position, the unit will want to sit next to the laptop rather than going straight out. This might interfere with any plugins above (or below) the used USB. (Like I said- slight issue.) Great investment for both of us!

Having read one too many one-star negative reports, I was ready to be disappointed. But, alas the case comfortably and securely holds the drive and its cord. Each is taken care of and an intermediate layer protects each from the other. The zipper closure works well and a removable clip allows the the case to be secured to ones belt loop or a loop on a bag or backpack. Color is dark slate and the surface is smooth and non-reflective. Worth the relatively low price.
