So its debatable whether the Hario packs of 100 or the packs of 40 work better, but these are significantly cheaper especially if you get 300 at a time. Ive no complaints, you can definitely make good coffee with these.

I ordered these thinking they would be the same as the ones that came with my Hario v60 Switch. They are not the same. These filters feel like they have a waxy coating on the inside as they feel slick on that side. They also brew a lot slower than my original filters. Even after adjusting my grind settings I still get an extended brew time. Where I would have normally got 200ml of water out of my brew at the 3:30 to 4:00 minute mark it now takes over 5:00 minutes to get the same yield. This has affected the way my coffee tastes and now I get a very bitter aftertaste. I am going to do some more dialing in to see if I can get these filters to work.

Hard to find these filters at the coffee shop so was happy to see them here and the three pack (300 filters total-wow!) for a reasonable price.

This is a great deal! Every morning when I brew my V60 coffee I know that these filters will give me the best flavor and extraction.

There are knockoff versions of this filter, but they able to recreate the effect of these filters. Pourover coffee isn’t right without these. I’ve tried to save a few dollars with other brands, but there’s no substitute for these.

I got the V60 just before the lock down and had a pack of filters that came with the unit. Getting laid off and not hunting them down in different markets I used filters I had on hand or bought something I thought might work. If you are serious enough to invest 4 minutes each time each time you want a cup of joe, then you will appreciate the difference. When I am not using fresh roasted beans I am known to r reuse these up to 7-8 times. I could squeeze even more uses if I wanted to but that is where I draw my line. Once you get the hang of it, the filter takes on an almost linen like quality at that stage. (Judge away... but I am being realistic about the state of things and 2¢ here and 2¢ there adds up to delaying another 17$ filter replacement purchase in a few months. So if you are wisely hunkered down for the long haul. Im telling you its okay to do.) another tip would be to drop the filter into the V60 tug on the nipple of paper that extends past the bottom opening then lay the filter flat against the walls and put the crease 180° from where the seam is. this sounds arduous and complicated rather than thinking but becomes second nature after the first few times, and yields a better interface between the cone and the coffee grinds. Thereby forcing the water to go through the mound rather than bypassing it.

These coffee filters are far superior to any others I have used. I use the pour over method of making coffee and the coffee drips through these filter better than any I have tried, and I have tried several kinds. Ordering the three packages at one times keep me in a a good supply. I have stopped using any other brand of filters.

Plenty of the real deal Hario filters, fast, what’s more to say? The three package order is a great option, and as someone who uses a V60 switch daily I appreciate I know that I won’t run out.

I am a V60 user and cant get through my morning without these paper filters. Very neutral flavor.
