Harry Potter I Solemnly Swear Marauders Map Umbrella Standard

This was a gift for my grandson

Purchased this for a harry potter fan friend I have. She loved the present! Will not disappoint any big fan! I read some reviews that said it was made crappy and fell apart. Was very apprehensive about ordering but I am glad I did. This product came to me super fast and was great quality. My friend has used it several times and it is still in like new condition.

Small, but my grand daughter loved it!

Against my better judgement, I bought this for my son because he loves Harry Potter. The only thing good I can say is the print is fun and the diameter when open is perfect for kid-sized people. Now on to the bad. First, I was surprised this isn’t push-button. That seems standard on even the most basic umbrellas not to mention officially licensed merchandise. In addition, my son only used the umbrella once before it broke when he tried to open it. The rod disconnected and not even the Repairo spell can fix it. Don’t get sucked in bc it’s Harry Potter like I did - this is truly a piece of junk.

Does its job. Mechanism isn’t that great but it’s cheap so I can’t expect it to be Hagrid’s umbrella.

Even though I read the reviews I still bought the item, it is now a nostalgic item because it broke after the second use. The design/print of Maureders Map is perfect even though the durability is not.
