Head and Shoulders Shampoo Old Spice Pure Sport, 21.9 Fl Oz, Twin Pack

I ordered this twin pack of Head & Shoulders shampoo for my husband. He has used this brand of shampoo for at least 25 years, perhaps longer than that. This is a different scent than what he normally uses though. The dandruff control works well, just like it always has for him. The Pure Sport scent is nice, and definitely a more masculine scent. If I had to find something to complain about, it would be that these big bottles would be so much easier to use if they had a pump.

2IN1 dandruff support. Great for year round, but especially in the winter months when my husband seems to get more flakes. I have used Head and Shoulders products for years. Like many people, I have mild dandruff and the active ingredient in Head and Shoulders products - pyrithione zinc - keeps it at bay. My shampoo of choice has always been the apple-scented version of their dandruff shampoo with conditioner. So I was happy to try out this new product to see how it stacks up against my old standby. First of all, I can say that it works just as well as their other products. After just over a weeks worth of use I have no dandruff and my hair is nice and clean. I do like this product buy Im taking off a start for two things that I dont like and one that might be a problem for female users. The first issues is the scent. Personally, I dont mind it but female users will likely find it too masculine. Most women would probably stay away anyway since Old Style is a mens product. But in case you were wondering, I can say definitively that this scent is a strong, masculine one and it will stay with you for hours after showering. The scent disperses more slowly than some of their more muted scents (like green apple). Another issue with this shampoo is that is does NOT contain conditioner. This is likely not a deal-breaker for most people but I do prefer my shampoo to contain both so I dont have to use two different products on my, admittedly, scant amount of hair. Finally, and probably the thing that I dislike the most is this shampoo is really, REALLY foamy. Its way foamier than Head and Shoulders other products. Its almost as if they took their shampoo and, rather than simply adding the Old Spice scent, they went ahead and added the body wash formula as well. It seems so much foamier that it seems there is more soap in this product than their normal shampoos. It takes more water to rinse off and sometimes I will be standing in an inch of foam if I use too much; the foam expands so much that it is slow to drain. Its crazy foamy. Bottom line I do recommend this shampoo with the above reservations. If you like strong, masculine scents and dont mind really foamy shampoo, by all means give this one a try. It will keep your dandruff at bay and will leave your hair shiny and smelling nice. Its another winner from an old standby.

Shampoo is great but the lid popped open and thankfully only leaked inside the shrinkwrap plastic it was shipped in!!

My husband uses head & shoulders on occasion. This one is working for him and bonus, I like the scent! It is masculine, pleasant and not too strong. These bottles are pretty large. Theyll last him a VERY long time ;)

This shampoo lathers, cleans, and does away with dander just like normal head and shoulders shampoo. Really the only difference is the smell, it smells like old spice. Its like my husbands shampoo and deodorant got together and had a baby. The result of leaving them unsupervised in the bathroom together Im sure... My only complaint is that the shampoo bottle opened in the mail and arrived covered in leaked shampoo.

This product is, in my opinion, is typical Head and Shoulders shampoo with the addition of an Old Spice scent. Which is to say, its good shampoo. It minimizes flaking while keeping hair clean and manageable. My only real complaint is that it has a weird, goopy consistency, but that is not exclusive to this formulation. Its standard for most of this brand of dandruff shampoo.

I gave it away for pet use! The scent is overwhelming!
