Each piece was wrapped to avoid any metal parts banging or scratching each other. Got this stand for my AirPods Max and they look fantastic on it. The curved wooden holder at the top is great quality and holds the headband perfectly. The metal base has some weight to it, so not worried about it tipping over. The bottom of the base has some rubberized strips to keep the base from sliding around. They keep the base in place well enough, but it’s still easy enough to slide the base around when needed. Again, overall am extremely happy with it and highly recommend it.
