> 3 dayThis is the second of these “heat tools”!I’ve owned… BOTH have quit working….. out of the blue, the first one stopped totally…. The one I have now runs for a bit & then cuts to half power…. So I am expecting to quit any day now. Will not purchase again.

Greater than one weekI had one just like this for several years which worked well. When It finally burnt out, Another one just like it was purchased through Amazon. This one burnt out after using it twice. I returned it and bought a different make which works well but I like the style of this kind better. I gave it another try and guess what it burnt out after 3 uses. I am not buying another one of this brand.!!!

> 3 dayI was looking for a hair dryer this size for drying watercolor paintings. Since it is a heat gun it is not good for that. It clearly says “ heat it” in the name so I do know why I though it would work. Great heat gun though compared to those long skinny ones. It’s way faster and way more powerful.

> 3 dayWasn’t sure about this because it says fabric in the description. Don’t know why it says that. It’s the correct US version Ranger heat tool. I needed a heat tool that was MUCH less intense than my embossing heat gun. My heat gun is so intense it warps all paper very easily which can be frustrating. This is a low velocity heat tool that is the size of a tiny travel hair dryer. It helps dry your watercolor, alcohol markers, stamping inks. It’s very quiet. Only has an on or off button. And does a very low light warm/hot air that SLOWLY dries your item without warping or moving the paper all around. It also helps dry without blowing whatever is wet across the paper. That’s happened many times with my embossing gun. I find myself grabbing for it all the time. Didn’t realize I needed it so much until I got it. I love it and recommend it to anyone who paints, stamps, or colors and doesn’t always want to wait for things to air dry. In my personal opinion I would not use it to emboss. This tool is for drying purposes only. I love it and hope you will too.

> 3 dayI love how quiet this little heat gun is however it takes a very long time to heat up. Other than that it’s OK.

Greater than one weekThis is a great product and I will be purchasing additional dryers for my classes. Its great for doing lives as you can talk and not have a noisy dryer interrupting your live presentation. Highly recommend.

Greater than one weekI’m a paper crafter. This is a necessary tool. It is not the same as a hair dryer
