This is the perfect heat-resistant mat for resting my hair straightener on while it is warming and as the straightener cools after use. I used to worry that my straightener might tip over and burn the countertop, and I would stress about checking the straightener even after it was unplugged. Now I just place the mat underneath the straightener and I can get ready for the day knowing my bathroom counter is protected. I’ve also found it nice for travel. I was concerned that the material might have a weird plastic smell, but it doesn’t smell like anything. Couldn’t ask for a better product or price!

So useful this heat resistant mat and pouch is. Protects surfaces and it makes flat ironing more convenient with just be able to lay it right on top and even once you are done you can store it right in the pouch. Perfect. I love the color I choose and the design. Perfect for travel and the price is really good. I certainly will be purchasing another. One for home, one for travel. Total must-have.

I love this mat. I have this flat iron that I use all of the time, and no place to store it, without my cord getting unraveled and going everywhere. This mat, I am able to tuck the cord in with the flat iron (obviously when it is cooled down) and not have to worry about it unraveling everywhere ant this mat makes a perfect storage as well.

Perfect size for bathroom counter. Holds the heat! Definitely recommend!
