LOVE this canvas Hoplite parachute bag! I needed a bigger bag to store and carry a giant Jenga (stacking blocks) set, since it was almost impossible to get all of the wooden blocks back into the cheap bag it came with. This canvas bag is very spacious. I tried to guess how the blocks would fit when looking for a better bag, and as you can see, there is a lot of extra room in this one! It is sturdy and has good carrying straps. Canvas does add to the weight, but it is worth it for durability.

I liked it so much but I had to give it up as it was too large for my need. The new owner, a boarding student, is giving it the hard use it deserves without any complaints, only compliments.

When they say extra large, they mean extra large. You could hide a body in this thing.

Definitely not as durable as military issue. I have 30-year old Army duffel bags that are still in great shape after years of tough use. This bag came with one of the snaps already broken (not a big deal to me, but unimpressive). As soon as I loaded it up and moved it, it caught on a metal corner and now has about a 4 inch rip. The rip is my fault, but the sellers specifically claim in the description that the bag is made of tear-proof material. The fabric is thick and can probably hold quite a bit of weight, but it is much softer and has a more open weave than what I would consider a canvas. It does not appear to be waxed or have any other sort of water proofing, so I wouldnt leave it out in the weather. I only paid $26 for this and it is still definitely useable. It just doesnt live up to the sellers claims, so thats why the 3 stars.

I ordered 2 of these canvas bags on the way home from evacuating for Hurricane Ida in August. I had packed clothes and shoes in those huge Ziplock storage bags that worked just fine, but slid all over the cargo area. Figured the canvas bags would hold at ton of clothes and were stackable. When the order was delivered, I was so impressed with the quality that I ordered a 3rd bag! Hoping not to have to evacuate for at least another 15 years, but these canvas bags will be perfect for regular road trips, as well!

Excellent heavy duty bag. Very well made and perfect for us to store and carry our portable barbecue. Great purchase....highly recommend for anyone searching for a durable multipurpose bag!

Bag has very heavy duty material and zipper. Also heavy duty snaps to cover the zipper... using to put truck cover in...well made...

I purchase this to travel snd bring some extra Luggage. Work excelente. Really like it. I really recommend it
