> 24 hourI built a tension fence and used 1/8 steel cable, it turned out great, it is very strong, doesnt stretch, and easy to work with. I decided to build more fencing now, seeing how nice this one turned out so nice.

> 24 hourThis is a great size cable for use while still being flexible. Got it to secure through my fencing on my chicken runs. Easy to deal with while still having plenty of strength. Probably overkill but should out last me and Ill never have to worry about it again.

> 24 hourThis type of stainless steel cable is great for DYI decking and stairway railing. It is strong and pretty impervious to most weather. The cable is smooth--no jagged edges and relatively easy to work with considering it is steel. To get the most out of this, I think it would be helpful to have the proper fittings and tools to put proper ends on the cut cable and to stretch it tightly.

> 24 hourFor the price, I couldnt pass this up. you never know when you are going to need extra wire on hand, so this was a no brainer investment. The wire cutters that are included dont seem to be a cheap pair, so they went into the tool bag to try out. The wire itself is good quality wire.

> 24 hourI am planning on using this as deck railing with the swag lag bolts and sleeve protectors through the deck posts. The package comes with the cutter which is nice... and they seem to work pretty well. I just need crimpers to start on the projects, but this step one and a nice size marine grade (will not rust) wire rope.

> 24 hourWe got this to use for fencing. Its exactly whats in the description. 1/8 wired rope. It appears to be quality. The wire cutters cut the wire well. Appear to be made well.

> 24 hourI know this is not winch wire, but it is a suitable substitute for chain when you need winding ability. I replaced the strap on a hand crank boat winch with this that I attached to my 4-wheeler and was able to tow some 14-20 diameter, 6-8 long logs a few hundred yards through my property. THEN, I was able to hoist said logs with another hand crank winch onto a mill sled. I also used the same wire to make a long lead for a come-along to help fell the trees. Its not listed what the breaking strength is, but it is a great wire to add some length to things without using heavy chain

> 24 hourThis wire rope worked great for securing the privacy screen behind my fence. Its held up great in the weather so far and theres plenty of length on this role to do the entire yard in one piece so I am very happy to be able to get this project done finally. I recommend this wire rope.

> 24 hourKudos to the delivery driver. This box, while small, felt like it had lead bricks in it. Thank you Amazon guy! I bought this for a specific purpose. I put up an antenna mast outside of a small workshop I recently built. It’s not like a 600-foot FM radio tower or anything. Just a 20-foot mast that I didn’t want to attach to the side of the building. I needed to run some guy-wires to keep it secure. I love that this spool come with cable cutters. I thought for sure they’d try to skimp on those but they were actually a pretty heavy-duty and durable pair of cutters. The wire rope is a good thickness to work with. Not too thick and stiff so that it’s easy to manipulate, but not so thin that I worry about it failing under load from wind or something. For my needs, it was just the right diameter. It was fairly easy to cut, no worse than other wire rope I’ve used. It went around a thimble nicely and was able to be crimped with the existing sleeves and crimp tool I had. I used some turnbuckles to ensure good tension. So far so good. I can’t speak to longevity while exposed to the elements but if this cable fails sooner than I expect it to, I will update my review.
