Was searching for an alternative to speaker spikes, when I came across this computer riser. My aim was to increase the height of the speakers and the risers do the job! The stands suit the Bose 401 speaker shape. According to stand specifications, they are engineered to support 88 pounds. Each speaker weighs 29 pounds. The speakers sit firm. I recommend the triangle shape for your vintage Bose 401 speakers. 4 stars as the extending portion of the legs are plastic.

These look and work great. Easy to assemble in minutes. I am 6 tall, and at the lowest height these work great for putting 24 monitors in a comfortable line of viewing. Will buy again to elevate my laptops.
