Hero Collector | Battlestar Galactica Collection | Cylon Raider (2004) with Magazine Issue 2 by Eaglemoss

The detail put into this Hero Collection piece is outstanding. The size is bigger than I expected for the price, however its not too big. A great representation of the SciFi channels BSG Cylon fighter.

Eaglemoss has to be the best producer of canon based ships, for all across the Sci-Fi genre. I currently own close to 100 of their ships, from the small to xl large size, and I couldn’t be more excited. I just bought a new house, and my collection is all in boxes and totes. As soon as the new display shelving is installed I will share photos of everything from my Star Trek ships, Battlestar Galactica, and the 1:8 scale model of Doc Brown’s DeLorean time machine.

全体の塗装などは、かなり、イイセンいっているのに、機関砲の裏の中抜きした部分が露出していたりして、隙があり、「こんな所が、アメリカンだな」とおもいました。

Arrived on time, a little cosmetic damage on the box only, the product was intact, thank you! Love Battlestar Galactica!

The pics cant do this justice! It looks so much better in person. Looking at it up close you can see where a real cylon raider would be terrifying to see.

I love this collection. They display beautifully and I love that they carry both the original series and the new one.

It’s a Eaglemoss model not cheap but cheap plastic

Bought as a gift for a collector. They were very pleased!

I purchased this Cylon Raider (not through Amazon) hot on the heels of having picked up the Viper Mk II model, also made by Eaglemoss. Both models are gorgeous and (in my view) worth the price tag. I have a slight preference for the Viper Mk II model. The first thing I noticed was that the two models are not to scale with one another. The Viper is proportionately larger and it makes the Raider look a bit small coming out of the package. Both models do no more than rest loosely on the plastic stand provided and while the Viper feels slightly less stable in its stand than the Raider, the plastic portion of the stand that cups the vehicle is less obtrusive with the Viper. In the case of the Raider, the stand cups the head of the Raider and this somehow affects the aesthetics of the model ever so slightly. These are extremely minor misgivings, however, compared to how nice both models are. Thoroughly recommended.

I love the details and durability of this piece. Comes with a viewing stand that goes together very easily. I will be getting further collectables from this series.
