> 3 dayIm a girl and Im 57. I debated between getting the mid volume or the regular sized Little America, and Im really glad I got mid volume. I have a thin frame so the backpack fits me just right. Its not to big or too small. Theres enough room my my computer (the fleece lined compartment is so nice that I dont carry my macbook in a case anymore), two 1.5in binders, a medium sized textbook, and my lab coat. The padding on the straps are heavenly. Its kind of unfortunate that theres no side strap for a water bottle, but it doesnt bother me too much. The front pouch is kind of useless, and a little hard to access (in general getting your stuff in and out of any compartment in the bag will take more time, but its worth it. This backpack is really nice and totally worth the money. I grew up with Jansport backpacks, but now that Ive tried Herschel, Im never going back. If you get the backpack, a pro tip is always rest the backpack with the straps facing up. I caught my mistake early, but the ends of my straps got a little frayed because I wasnt resting it right.

> 3 dayI am obsessed!!! I started researching what backpacks would be best for law school & Legal Eagle on YouTube recommend this backpack. Let me just say, ITS AMAZING. You just feel the good quality. The back is made of a thick material, the black straps are nicely done, the laptop sleeve is so soft so your laptop is safe from scratches & the inside is spacious. You can feel & see the quality of it!! I continue to get compliments on it. I’ve taken it on flights & it never once hurt my back, the padding on the straps make it so comfortable. It also rained today & it held up great. It didn’t feel wet at all, I didn’t know this but a friend mentioned that it was water resistant, which gives me more of a reason to love it. Don’t let the price scare you, the quality IS WORTH IT!!!!

> 3 dayThis is the 2nd bag I have bought. I bought my 1st one about 7 years ago and never realized that the snaps were not right (6 of the 8 were male) which I didnt care and I used this bag through College and it held up nicely even with all the daily weight. I can fit my laptop and a console in the backpack along with multiple days of clothing and it still isnt bulky! I now use the old bag as a day pack when I go hiking. I love this bag and highly recommend. The one I got from Amazon had one of the snaps come detached from the bag after only a day of use. I returned that bag and got a replacement and so far so good with the new bag!

> 3 dayThis is by far my favorite backpack. It has the ability to carry so much, and its very comfortable to wear. The padded pocket for the laptop is really nice to provide some protection, im able to fit alot more in there then just the laptop, whether its the charger or an iPad, or even an external hard drive. I use this as my daily backpack because of how much I can fit in without it being a huge bag on my back. The only thing that I wish would be that it had a water bottle pocket on the side but you cant win them all.

> 3 dayI bought this for a work trip that required me to travel but only have my carry on luggage for the plane ride. This backpack worked great as the second piece your allowed to bring with you onto the plane, and it fits perfectly underneath the seat in front you! Its definitely made for carrying a lot of things, which I did, but it never really feels heavy. I am a small person, and it probably looked big on me but it never hurt my back. The shoulder/arm straps are comfortable and padded, and the inside has a spot specifically for a 13 laptop computer. While the rest of the space is huge and can fit a enormous amount of anything else you could think to carry. The smaller front pocket on the outside of the bag zips shut and has a flap that comes over the top so anything in there is protected, and it is a relatively large pocket; I fit two iPhones, and phone chargers with plenty of room to spare (for small items). I only wish I could have known this backpack existed while I was in undergrad carrying 6 large textbooks, my laptop or notebook to classes everyday. I would recommend this product to everyone. It is sturdy and I suspect it will last a long time.

> 3 dayPros: - High quality Material that is washable (mine was washed after I spilled a drink in the inside and still looks brand new) - Padded straps are soft and comfortable - Storage space is huge and provides great protection for a laptop (even supports the 15 in MBPs) - Contents can be easily accessed - Perfect for daily usage - Vintage/stylish look which will be trendy for a very long time Cons: - None! Overall: I currently use mine daily when I go to work (Backpacks are very big in the Silicon Valley Tech World) and also used when traveling and it seriously still looks brand new! Herschel seriously puts time and effort in their products and it shows. By far my favorite backpack Ive every owned. I also expect to use this backpack for many more years ( Though Id probably buy a few more in different colors since I love it so much!) I would highly recommend this as a daily usage backpack and also for those who travel frequently. Its seriously a joy to wear this thing.

> 3 dayI wanted a replacement for my Northface backpack, and was worried that I wouldn’t find anything nice looking that had the same size. This is as big, if not a bit bigger (taller) than my old pack. It doesn’t have as many inner pockets, which is a bit of a bummer, but I do like the well-padded laptop slot and the fact that the front pocket has a zipper under the buckles. I haven’t seen how well it holds up in the rain yet, but I hear these bags are pretty rugged. I like it a lot so far.
