Herschel Little America Laptop Backpack, Navy/Tan Synthetic Leather, Classic 25.0L

I purchased the Herschel Supply Co. Little America Backpack in black at the beginning of the school year, after my old backpack started tearing and hurting my back when I walked to class. After using this backpack for over 6 months, I can say its the best one Ive ever had! As a college student who does a lot of walking, this bag is essential. If youre a student, Im sure youve experienced how much it can ache to carry around heavy textbooks all day and feel them hit your back when you walk. With this bag, my back pain was gone after my very first use. The padding on the shoulders and straps is like a cushion and I cant even feel the books Im carrying. Such an improvement! Not only is it a cool design and material, its also really durable and secure. When it rains, it keeps my books and laptop completely dry and the secure magnets and tie make it so nothing ever falls out. The best part is the inside with its laptop slot, keeping your electronics safe. I do wish it had a pocket for your water bottle and its lacking an inside liner pocket to store smaller items. This bag was really worth the money and I have a feeling its going to last a long time!

I wanted a replacement for my Northface backpack, and was worried that I wouldn’t find anything nice looking that had the same size. This is as big, if not a bit bigger (taller) than my old pack. It doesn’t have as many inner pockets, which is a bit of a bummer, but I do like the well-padded laptop slot and the fact that the front pocket has a zipper under the buckles. I haven’t seen how well it holds up in the rain yet, but I hear these bags are pretty rugged. I like it a lot so far.

This is by far my favorite backpack. It has the ability to carry so much, and its very comfortable to wear. The padded pocket for the laptop is really nice to provide some protection, im able to fit alot more in there then just the laptop, whether its the charger or an iPad, or even an external hard drive. I use this as my daily backpack because of how much I can fit in without it being a huge bag on my back. The only thing that I wish would be that it had a water bottle pocket on the side but you cant win them all.

I bought this to replace my previous Herschel backpack, same style and size, but it was in black. That one lasted 6years before showing wear and tear. I love this new one, good size and the colors are great. Very comfortable, you almost can’t feel the contents inside.

Use this as my work bag everyday. Probably a good 10 lbs in it. It’s been 2 years and has never torn, ripped, no straps have gave out. It’s a great bag

My husband used my Herschel bag.. Do I decided to purchase one for holiday for him...I had to ultimately return it... The plastic bag it came in had no scuffs... The actual backpack the flap to open it, they leather straps were damaged. As if it was drug across the grown and then packaged. It was weird. Love Herschel bags, not from this buyer.

I bought this bag pacifically for non carry-on flights …I went to Vegas for 4 days with this bag.. I was able to bring 4 days of clothes with one pair of shoes which was converse..

This is a great backpack as far as style is concerned, but as a college student I have issues with its actual use. For one, you would think the magnetic clips on the straps would make it easy to close the backpack quickly, but youd be wrong. The magnets arent flat, so you have to line them up to get them to stay shut. It may seem like a minor issue when you think about it, but my school campus is a decent size and with only a ten minute interval between each class I need all the time I can get, so getting my stuff packed and ready to go after class is something Id rather do fairly quickly. Of course, this backpack is much easier to close than one with actual straps, but a zipper backpack would be even faster. Another small issue is the lack of places to store items, such as pens and flash drives. The pocket on the front of the bag has a keyhook, but thats it. Its annoying at times to have to dig around in a pocket and fish out what you need. On a positive note, the backpack has a very nice padded laptop sleeve that is very soft, so you dont have to worry about putting your laptop in an additional sleeve like with some other backpacks. Also, the material is very durable so I dont see it needing to be replaced for a few years. Overall, its a nice, stylish backpack with a great laptop sleeve, but it is not the best backpack if youre really into keeping everything organized or if you want to be able to toss your things in and go

Before I got this backpack I was using a more compact backpack made for hiking and it wasnt compatible with the amount of stuff that I had to carry around for school. One thing that I really enjoy about the backpack is the amount of space that it has and how much stuff I can carry in it. A con is that I wished it had more compartments or pockets so I could better organize my things as well as a way to store a water bottle and umbrella outside of the main compartment where I put things like my laptop and phone.
