Good bag, held my things very well. Looks good, bag. Wear it on my back, on the train, in a car, on a plane. Causes no pain. Bag. Good one at that. Me for president.

I have received many compliments on this bag!!! It is really cute and materials and build is great! I have had and used it almost every day for a few months now and havent had any problems yet. I am a 56 average build female and the mid-volume fits well! Glad I purchased this one instead of the regular sized one. Having said all that, I dont like that theres no place for a water bottle so I end up having to hold mine or use up valuable space inside the bag. Its a little small so dont expect to hold a ton of college books or other items. For my purposes it works just fine. I use it to carry an extra set of clothes and shoes for the gym. Not the easiest to find small items especially in main section because it is just one large container. Things get lost easily in there. The front pouch can fit my small wallet, keys, and phone. I wouldnt recommend this as a travel bag since it is really hard to access anything you would need quickly. I decided to keep this bag because it looks great, works for my uses, and I can wear it to work.

I am honestly very pleased with what I received. I was really iffy about wasting my money on a really expensive bag, since I didnt really know what to expect just by looking at the few images amazon displays on the page. I heavily relied on the customer reviews and photos people posted (thank you, by the way) in order to make up my mind on whether or not I should buy it, or which color I should even buy. Suffice to say, This bag is very durable and looks much more visually appealing than i expected. With the red stripes in the interior, (which i originally thought was a turn off) it really compliments the black exterior of the bag, and the straps look very durable (not tacky at ALL) . The size measurements are very accurate and you can use my photos as proof. Although it is quite big on a 52 girl such as myself, it is able to 3 text books, a binder and a winter coat in it, with MUCH more extra space. Also, the back has very soft padding, on the arm straps as well, so it is very comfortable to wear for long periods of time, even if you are carrying a heavy load. There are two mini pockets in the sides of the interior to store small items, such as a phone, sunglasses, ect. In addition to the fur-lined laptop pocket, which can safely hold my 15 inch Macbook Pro. The front pocket is just a pocket, with a little key chain holder to hold maybe hand sanitizer or keys. However, the only con i should point out is that there arent enough pockets. The front pocket is just a large pocket with no other mini-pockets inside, so this bag is highly recommended for people who dont carry many small items with them, or know how to use a purse or pencil case. I know the feel, being hesitant to order this bag since there werent many details specified in the page that wouldve be helpful to know, or believing that the specs arent reliable. So to ease your discomforts, I added photos that i took right when it got out of the box, including the measurements. Honestly, just buy it, it is definitely worth it.

Very nice and durable backpack. I wouldnt necessarily use this as a backpacking bag, but it is great for school and carrying large amounts of things in it. I carried multiple college textbooks, drawing supplies, computer, and computer charger in the main compartment with ease. The padding on the back allows for comfort so your back wont be sore or anything in the backpack wont be hitting your back as you walk. The computer sleeve is very nice as well. Nice material and has padding on the bottom so when you set your bag down, your computer wont be slamming on the ground as well. Overall, great product. I recommend buying it if youre looking for style, comfort, and durability. It is worth the money!

Great Backpack! Really durable material and the laptop slot feels very soft and cushioned. I keep my laptop in an AmazonBasics sleeve I got for it for extra protection. I was hesitant at first because I wasnt sure about the size and people had mixed reviews about it but after getting it I saw it was the perfect size. Im 56 so it fits the length of my back perfectly. In terms of functionality its a great back pack as its made of really sturdy material and the inside is well stitched and the cushioning on the back is awesome especially for a student like me who spends a lot of time at school. The price is a little steep but Im willing to spend more for quality than spend less for a cheaper product. I always wondered why people loved Herschel so much but now I know! I even got a wallet to boot so if you are a fan of Herschel check out their wallets!

The metallic, magnetized buttons in the front of this bag NEVER once stayed clasped. I didn’t notice it at first because I never had a ton of stuff in the bag whenever I used it for the first several months. But, it became painfully obvious when I took it on a cross-country vacation. Poorly manufactured piece of junk.

I have to give it five stars for me personally, since it is exactly what I wanted - but, I do feel like I should be clear that its a bit of an odd size. It would be very large for an everyday back-pack. On the other hand, its not huge like a good hiking pack, either. I really did not want something that looked like camping gear. I dont camp. Im not sports-y. I would feel like a fraud carrying something from REI - but I needed something bigger than your average large back-pack. And thats the niche the Herschal Little America sits in. We went to France for eight days, and the Herschel was perfect for my needs - BUT, I also had a large tote bag. I probably could have eliminated a few things and done with just the Herschel - but, it would have been tight. As it was, the Herschel + tote was about exactly right. There are no dividers or pockets - just the laptop sleeve and a couple too-small-to-be-useful pouches - but I never use the organizers features when I have them, anyway; Im-a-toss-it-in-and-go kinda girl. (I have to say that I love the lining - totally makes the bag for me.) It seems solidly made and the straps and padding are all modern and up-to-date. Like I said - its not a hiking pack, so its not a highly engineered, ergonomic wonder - but it was reasonably comfy for this indoor girl to carry through airports and the jaunt from the bus station to the hotel, etc. Im very pleased with it. I would recommend it highly, provided you check the measurements against your needs.

I bought this bag a little over 2 months ago, and so far it has held up great with almost daily use. I live in NYC and commute on the subway, and the backpack accompanies me almost everywhere. Im 53 with a petite frame, and I think Im happy that I went with the mid volume bag instead of the full size. However, because this bag is a slightly smaller size and not a stretchy material, dont expect to be able to over stuff it, especially if you want it to last. Nevertheless, I can still fit a lot in here. On an average day, I use the larger pocket to carry my Kindle, a water bottle, my (overstuffed) wallet, a light jacket or windbreaker, an umbrella, and 1 or 2 tupperware containers. The smaller pocket houses my keys, lotion, hand sanitizer, chapstick, and other small items. I think people are generally surprised how much I can fit in here! So far the materials of the bag are holding up great. I chose the navy backpack, and the dark color hides any scuffs or dirt from daily travel. The faux leather straps are still in mostly good shape, but the tips are slightly fraying. I love candy striped inside of this bag, and I get a lot of compliments on how it looks. Even when Im carrying a lot of items, the bag is normally comfortable to have on my back. Also, it is true that this bag wont fit computers larger than 13. I have a 14 laptop, and I was hoping that I could squeeze it into the laptop pocket, but I have had no such luck.

To be honest, I was a bit reluctant on getting this backpack as I felt it was to trendy and not always trendy stuff are useful or comfy. I had to get it, cause I was looking for something that size and also with a laptop compartment to keep up with my busy and long days. Ive tried more than 6 backpack brands and although they are well designed, there was always something not convincing me. Now, Ive been using this Herschel Supply Little America Backpack in Black for 3 weeks now AND... I cant believe it took me SO LONG To get this master piece. It is so well designed, the fabric its wonderful, the design is very sleek, everything fits perfectly and most importantly the weigh is well distributed. it has a padded back so it feels very natural and nice when Im wearing it. Its MAGNIFICENT! I think the best part of it, its that its very stiff as well, so it keeps its form throughout the day NO MATTER WHAT! if you have busy days and you need to carry a lot of stuff like me, please do yourself a favour and get this babe!

I purchased the Herschel Supply Co. Little America Backpack in black at the beginning of the school year, after my old backpack started tearing and hurting my back when I walked to class. After using this backpack for over 6 months, I can say its the best one Ive ever had! As a college student who does a lot of walking, this bag is essential. If youre a student, Im sure youve experienced how much it can ache to carry around heavy textbooks all day and feel them hit your back when you walk. With this bag, my back pain was gone after my very first use. The padding on the shoulders and straps is like a cushion and I cant even feel the books Im carrying. Such an improvement! Not only is it a cool design and material, its also really durable and secure. When it rains, it keeps my books and laptop completely dry and the secure magnets and tie make it so nothing ever falls out. The best part is the inside with its laptop slot, keeping your electronics safe. I do wish it had a pocket for your water bottle and its lacking an inside liner pocket to store smaller items. This bag was really worth the money and I have a feeling its going to last a long time!
