Herschel Sutton Duffel Bag

Great quality! All all other Herschel products this bag is ver nice and I get compliments on it all the time. It works very well as an overnight bag as it is not a big duffle bag. It does get dirty fairly easily but it should be expected as it is white. I bought the matching backpack as well.

I really wanted to like this duffel bag, but I just cant find a good reason. The only pro for this bag is that its really fashionable. However, the quality is just terrible. The shoulder strap squeaks so much when youre walking. I originally thought that this wouldnt be a problem, but when you have to walk several blocks in the city with this on your shoulder, it gets very irritating. Also, the straps are poorly sewn. Ive only used this daily for about 6 months carrying a textbook and a set of gym clothes and the stitching at the shoulder handles are already ripping.

First of all I have a Herschel backpack that I love. The duffle however was a disaster. I bought this duffle because it has a cross body strap, I live in NYC and use this as a gym bag and find it easier to walk/commute with cross body strap. The first problem was that the strap squeaked to the point that my office mates could hear me coming as soon as I hit our elevator bay, not a deal breaker but really annoying to walk a mile and hear squeaking the entire way. The deal breaker is that less than two months after buying the bag the fabric piece that anchors the cross body strap broke completely, unfortunately I am beyond the return window so this $60 bag is pretty much unusable for my purposes. I spend the money on Herschel products because they are supposed to be a higher quality but my $20 duffle from Kmart, while now really dirty, has lasted for over 10 years.

Took it to Miami for a weekend. Love it.

This is the perfect workout bag if you are looking for something to simply carry your gear in. It does not have many pockets, but the main compartment has plenty of space to carry anything you would need (shoes, jacket, towel, water bottle, etc.).

Good bag for the gym. I had a mid-size bag from Herschel Supply that was too big for what I needed and sold it. This is great for quick runs to the gym, and fits all my stuff including towel, dopp kit, change of clothes, etc. Material is okay - plastic connectors cause a squeaking noise when walking which is kind of annoying. Overall, solid bag for quick trips to the gym and overnight trips.
