This is some very nice wire. Other reviewers said its thin, it is not. It is true 16 gauge. Very solid wire.

Excellent wire! I just misjudged how big it was, I wanted a smaller 18 AWG but thats not the wires fault and the wire still works as intended and sound quality is excellent!

In looking for quality speaker wire, found this which seemed to be copper (a lot of other speaker wire is copper clad aluminum) and also the gauge claimed (some other speaker wire on the market is smaller than advertised). After receiving it, I could see it was REAL 16 gauge all copper wire. Has a good, and fairly thick, insulation with one edge clearly marked. If you are looking for really good speaker wire, this is it.

Only buy pure copper speaker wire like this. Solid strands (NOT that hair line stuff). Strips easy. Pulls apart easy. Packaged well. Fast delivery. Excellent price. Sound quality beats that crappy copper clad aluminum hands down. This is old school type wire for critical listeners.
