> 3 dayIf youre looking at this meter, you likely have a use-case for an analog meter, or just want one. I still find a place on the bench or in the field for an analog multimeter. This is high-quality, the case is nice to protect the meter and keeps the leads with the meter. Highly recommend.

> 3 dayAlthough multimeters have gotten smaller in size, this one fits the bill as a replacement of an older unit I had for many years. Like the idea of several testing cords that comes with it. Great idea.

> 3 dayThis, so far, has been a quality meter. Was also pleasantly surprise to find it came with aN installed battery to ssupport the Ohms function.

> 3 dayNot sure why anybody would buy an analog meter these days (peaking signals? nostalgia?) but this one is the best I got so far in terms of accuracy and speed (the needle moves reasonably fast). Like most analog meters on the market, it does not measure AC current. The DC current range is limited to max. 300mA. The 1.5V battery test (under 100 ohms resistive load) is a nice addition. Wish it could test 9V batteries under low resistive load, too. Nice overall built quality (made in Japan), with a sturdy carrying case. The leads are similar to those sold with the more modern Hioki digital meters – not terribly sharp tips, but gold plated, notched for sturdier contact with through the hole components under the removable tip cover and reasonably flexible. Highly recommended if looking for a small and accurate analog meter.

> 3 dayI gave it four stars because the test leads dont allow for attachments. Like the fluke leads do. Would not mind paying a little extra if more versatile leads were included. Otherwise a great meter. Im currently taking an electronics course and needed it for studies. Also no mirror under needle for parallax.

> 3 dayWas looking for a well built affordable analog multimeter. The unit is very well built, a bit lighter than I expected. The plastic case is a bit thin, but it does the job to protect the multimeter. The unit has a great size, big enough for good reading, but adequate for portability.
