Hitachi 998839 Switch 1P Pillartype C10FS/H/B Replacement Part

Yes was an easy direct replacement for the OEM trigger switch. Just a word of warning it does NOT come with the three set screws. You will need to take those from the old switch. So don’t throw it out.

Perfect match for existing. Changed brushes and switch to be safe. Now my 20 year old saw is like new. She’s been a good saw!

Could have used a wire diagram because my buddy through the wires were wrong and swapped them around. I knew it was just tye contacts...but cleaning them didn’t last long as the pivot if the contacts gets used up with time. I bought this and saw works great. I hought brushes too just cause. Five stars. Buy it and be done with it!!!

Fit just like the old one. Replaced to fix a braking issue. I dont think this was the problem because the old one tested fine with a meter. I believe the new brushes fixed the braking issue.

I received the part and it was an exact match to the original. Another review stated that it didnt come with screws however that was not the case. They were not in the switch but were with it. Couldnt be happier.

Perfect replacement for the switch on my Hitatchi CF8 slide saw. Be careful when you open yellow plastic bag. The 3 set screws (that secure the wires in the switch) are loose. I found the one that dropped. No longer do I have a saw that sometimes takes several trigger pulls to turn on, and sometimes gets stuck on.
