> 3 dayA very basic tool you dont normally think of, until you try to build a birdhouse. Easy to assemble, easy to use. All you need is a drill and a steady hand. The birdhouse came out nice, and it is definitely a good price.

> 3 dayHole saws can be problematic because the material gets packed in and stuck to the saw. An additional problem is that the mounting plates insert is easily lost. I mention these shortfalls not because they are unique to this product but because they are inherent with hole saws. So, when a nice inexpensive option such as this product becomes available, you can get several and not worry if you want to make them disposable. Specifically, this is a great product without for saws (1.25, 1.5, 1.75, and 2.12). The larger size (2.12) is a bit odd, but depending on your use, it might be okay.

> 3 dayOverall: 5/5 This is one of those weird tools that you won’t use all the time, but when you need it it’s like a miracle to have it. I’ve used a similar design on dozens of different types of wood surfaces over the years. From adding a deadbolt to running wiring through desks this has always come in handy. They include 4 sizes, the pilot, and a hex tool. Looks like a great value to me. Quality: 5/5 Well made with no noticeable flaws. Thoughtful inclusion of all the pieces you need for multiple sizes. Value: 5/5 Great value considering my own experiences with this kind of tool.

Greater than one weekI used it to cut a hole in what I consider to be soft wood, which actually had a bit of water damage so should have been super soft wood. It worked, and it cut the hole. I went to cut a second one and the saw piece that that bolted to the drill piece rounded out and no longer worked to cut after a single hole. If you stick to softer materials like drywall, some plastics, etc, I would say it is probably fine. It will have very little longevity when used on any type of solid wood. A particle board might be fine.

> 3 dayThis is a very inexpensive hole saw set made for softer materials. They appear to be of decent quality and able to handle the materials claimed. I think they are definitely worth the price.

> 3 dayIts a good set, but Im not sure if this is really made for steel. Possibly works well for wood though! Comes with adapter and Allen wrench.

> 3 dayThis kit comes with a variety of sizes so it is nice to have the variety available for your project. The blades themselves are quality steel with sharp edges that had no problem going through plywood or particle board. I do wish this had come with a holder or something so you could keep it all together but for what you get, it is a good set that is quality made and works well to cut holes.

> 3 dayThis is a hole saw kit with four sizes of blades which is a nice feature. The blades are good for cutting into wood, drywall, plastic, etc. but not for cutting glass, ceramic, metal, or hardwood. It is good for cutting holes for locksets and doorknobs in hollow core doors and solid wood doors. At this price point, I don’t expect the blades to be too durable but it will be a nice surprise if they hold up against higher-priced blades.
