> 3 dayI got three 2-packs and installed three across and 8 foot long wall, set into wall studs and have (so far) loaded two levels with 8 foot timbers, 6 8/4 teak and 5 8/4 syp. Swallows up that load with no sign of any strain. Got more to load tomorrow. Installation was easy, relatively quick and - with care not to miss any studs - very solid. Two people made leveling the tops of each set easy using a straight edge and level to alignment. Cant find anything to complain about. Like my dad always said: If you aint got time to do it right, where you gonna find the time to do it over? This product has been done right.

> 3 day(-) The first two lag bolts I tried snapped off (broke). Both bolts broke at the same spot -- where the threads start. I pre-drilled the holes, so that wasnt the problem. I switched to using my own lag bolts and there were no more issues. The hardware provide with the racks is poor quality. (+) The design is generally good; easy to install and adjust. The quality of the racks is pretty good. Ill be curious to see how the finish holds up over time. They feel strong enough for most uses. Good for trim and smaller dimensional lumber. (-) Im puzzled by one design feature. The top and bottom rack each have two holes -- for adjusting height. The top rack only fits on the highest setting because the mounting bolt prevents use of the lower holes. The bottom rack only fits on the higher setting. If you try to use the lower setting, the rack arm drops below the mounting bracket. Very strange that they would provide the additional adjustments when two cant be used. The only explanation I can think of is that they wanted a symmetrical bracket, where theres no top or bottom.

Greater than one weekAs mentioned in many of the comments, you should buy lag bolts so that the racks securely hold the weight these racks can hold. I bought 3 5/16 lag bolts for 52 cents each at Ace Hardware. Get 4 lag bolts per pack (e.g. I bought 8 for my 2 pack). Installation Notes 1. I found studs approximately 48 inches apart. 2. Mark horizontal line (6 ft level) where you want the bottom of the supports to be. 3. Mark vertical line (2 ft level) running 16 inches up from bottom mark. 4. Mark and drill pilot hole for lag bolts (13/64ths). The holes in my mount were 3 and 14 5/8ths up from the bottom. 5. Use impact driver to attach mounts. Dont forget to put a washer (called a spacer in the instructions) on each lag bolt. 6. Install arms with hunch pins and clips. Check arm for angle, if that is critical for your usage. Tools (these are the tools I used, not all are mandatory) 1. Stud finder 2. 2 foot level 3. 6 foot level 4. Measuring tape 5. Drill and 13/64ths drill bit (could use 7/32nds) 6. Impact drill and half inch deep socket Complaints: 1. One of the hitch pins had a hole that didnt go all the way through, so I chatted with Amazon and got a $15 credit and bought an 1 1/2 inch pin for $1.45 from Ace Hardware 2. The specs mention that the arms tilt up slightly; three of mine (so a fourth of the arms) did not. The angle was not critical for wood stock, so that was not an issue for me.

> 3 dayEasy to install and flexible with easy height adjustments. Strong enough to hold more wood than I have. Happy!

> 3 dayI purchased a double pack (glad I did) and found them to be very easy to install and sturdy. The racks freed up some valuable floor space. There were ZERO defects and, except for the drywall-type mounting screws included (sorry, but these thin screws dont inspire much confidence in their durability), I found the components to be good quality. The racks are holding up cherry wood planks that are very heavy 9-10 foot long and 10 inches wide by 1 inch plus thick, so the whole system is holding up well. The only regret I have is that I waited so long to purchase and then mount them.

> 3 dayor workshop. This is a great organizer not only for wood but other stuff too such as PVC. I like that you can push the arms up and out of the way when not using them. I can attest though that the screwheads on the manufacturers screws are a bit weak and I bought more durable ones elsewhere. DOWNSIDE: When I bought this it only came with one mount. Called Amazon and they sent a replacement that also included only one mount. Hopefully this snafu is fixed because it should have been a pair. Thankfully I was told to keep both to make the set (and was only charged one time)

> 3 dayVery sturdy, freed up alot of space in garage. I just wish they came with a rod or strap to go between the arms up and down to secure items so the do not tumble/fall off end. In my photos you can see paracord that I tied between the arms. Thanks for helping me get my floor space back.
