Greater than one weekThis a beautiful parasol. I use it to shade off the sun. It is dainty with silk and lace, but large enough to shade the sun from all sides. This only to be used as a parasol in the sun, not for rain. It is not waterproof

Greater than one weekLove this product because it really is good. I dont feel the heat coming from the sun at all. The shade is cooling and better than the hat.

> 3 dayThis umbrella is beautiful. I bought it for my wedding day and it was exactly the color I was looking for. I did not use it in rain just snow.

> 3 dayWorks really well but it doesnt compact well. You have to unlatch each spine so it can bent outwards to store and then latch them back to have it open the right way. So you have to leave it open. And the extension to wrap aorund the umbrella to keep it closed in on the inside so can only be used when compacted. This doesnt make sense to me.

> 3 dayThis parasol is lovely. I ordered the grey parasol but its really a champagne color with a grey lace overlay. The photos eluded to this and I couldnt be happier. The underbelly is black and while I would have preferred it white, it will do the job of keeping the dreaded UV rays off me. It feels romantic and feminine. Our first outing shall be a local winery. PLEASE NOTE: The parasol will not fit into the sleeve it comes with unless the ribs are bent upward into the position as how it shipped. See other reviews for further clarity. It may take all of 30 seconds for you to snap the ribs into or out of place.

> 3 daySuper cute. I bought this as a gift and I like it! Actually blocks UV with the black inner layer. Came with a carrying bag too! Folds strange, but once you figure it out its easy! Color is as pictured for the pink.

Greater than one weekIt’s so beautiful and great quality. Feels really sturdy. I did have trouble opening it at first. I’ve never had a two fold umbrella before. And I didn’t know you had to unfold each arm before opening it and it was opening inside out. But customer service was really helpful and sent me pictures on how to do it. Once I knew how to open it, it was super easy. I think including instructions might be helpful for some. But really great customer service! I haven’t used it in the sun yet, but I can’t wait!

> 3 dayI was kindly sent this product for honest reviewing purposes. * First important note: Because of the non-waterproof lace layer, Im pretty sure this is not a waterproof umbrella - its intended as a sun protector parasol. * What it looks like closed: This umbrella has a really weird closing mechanism, where the end of the prongs of the umbrella fold upwards when the umbrella is closed (ie in the opposite direction that they should be when it opens). This means that when you open it the first ever time, you may have to hold all the prongs downwards in the right direction to coax the umbrella into opening up in the right direction... not ideal. But I found it remembers to open in the right way after the first time. Closed, it measures about 26cm end to end - a convenient compact size to fit into a bag. * About the materials: The exterior material a really pretty floral lace (not waterproof) with some glittery sparkle to it. Behind the holey lace layer is a shiny metallic-coloured layer. It looks very elegant. The interior is black and a little bit shiny. * About the closure: It wraps closed with a press-stud clasp. Because of the upward-prong-folded closing mechanism, it makes it a little bulky and tricky to close up neatly, but at least the press-stud manages to help keep it somewhat compact. I do feel like it may get quite creased closed with the upfold method - I think what Ill do is skip the upfolding step, and keep it closed to a less compact 45cm length, tied up with the stud-clasp. * About the handle: The handle is very short, gold and shiny, with a little 3-leaf clover design on it. Its more pretty than practical since it could be comfier to grip, but it does the job. * About opening it: Its a manual, not automatic, so you open it old-style by pushing the umbrella open. Its a bit stiff to click into place and made some tightening-fabricy-crinkly-creaky noises as it reached full-open stretch. It requires a little bit of force to get it to click into locked open position. * Canopy size: Its a nice size. I measured the open-canopy to be around 90cm in diameter. * Overall: Very pretty, girly and lacey - I really like the look of this parasol and it does a good job of keeping you shaded from the sun. I would have prefered it if the interior were a lighter colour rather than black and if the handle were comfier to hold.. and if the closing mechanism didnt involve the weird upfolding-bit, but other than those points for improvement, its a very pretty parasol.

Greater than one weekbought this for my mom as a birthday gift; she cant be in the sun very much and shes very frilly and girly so the style was important. she absolutely loves it and it really does help protect her from the sun. the fact that it folds up makes it more portable too which is a huge bonus. shes so happy with it and i will definitely be buying another if she somehow manages to break it lol.
