> 24 hourThese wraps are great! They can be placed to sit right on the top of the hoof while cooling the leg which I really like. And so does my horse with laminitis. We have been using these 2 times a day and (of course along with butte and other therapies) we see a noticeable difference in his comfortability level before and after the ice. They stay cold for about 30-45min in 100+ heat. I like to leave them as long as I can in the freezer for optimum freezing so a second pair was a no brainer so we can switch them out each use, but not necessary. The Velcro straps are also long enough to be able to put a small clothe on the inside if you feel it is too cold for your baby. Also super easy to either hose off or wipe down. All in all, great purchase!
