I dint know this particular cord even existed ! I purchased this cord for my AKAI RPM3 Monitors. In the back panel I have the options for XLR and RCA for Audio Output. The Hosa TS to RCA cord worked perfectly to go into my secondary interface. I now have a set of reference monitors thanks to this cord. The quality is awesome. Highly Recommended ! [PS. Purchase 1/4/ to 1/4 adaptor for stereo output signals. This cord is MONO.

I must admit I had my doubts when I realized after ordering it was Hosa. My experience with their bottom-price parts, borne out through other reviews and pictures showing almost DIY-quality connections as well, is that you got what you paid for: a simple bare-bones cable with a shelf life, and when you get 6’ for $6, small surprise. I never even saw Hosa with REAN connectors and higher quality parts, but this is that. The cable is thick and well shielded, the connectors are solid, and there’s 0 noise. Do you necessarily need REAN? No, but if you’re going for high quality cabling, don’t cheap out on a monitor out or something else, or if it’s your main cable, say connecting an entertainment system to speakers, might as well have it be a good one. Besides, it’s still cheap compared to many others. Also, far too many go to a stereo 1/4” TRS. Yet, most of the time, you’ll be plugging in to a two-port input.. most pieces of audio equipment I’ve had usually have L/R, meaning if you get a RCA L/R to single TRS 1/4”, you’ll end up using a Y-splitter anyway. Another connection, another noise source, best avoided, so that makes this particularly useful.

Needed high quality cables for my stereo set up, and these fit the bill. There was a bit of static in my system with my old cables and these got rid of most of it. I suspect my xlr cables to be the next to be replaced with high end cables as theyre probably not shielded.
