Hosa TRS cable is solid, and does the job. Purchased to use with a foot switch.

I plug my Focusrite interface into KRK monitors with these cables in a stationary home setup. 18 months later... still a good signal with no noise.

TRS cable wont operator my violins or guitars that are ordinary humbuckers... but, I didnt buy this for them, I bought this for my EMG pickup guitars, which require a TRS to actuate the 9v power inside my plugin switch. Looks like the conductor dividers are really thin compared to my patch cables to separate the shield and ring.... strangely the ring seems fatter for the ring to tip... odd. I did run continuity and short tests and all tests good. It is an odd placement of T, S, and R dues to random odd sizes of plastic dividers.
